It has the orange tip because it came that way. When rap4 came out with their markers they were use by military and police, so the colored tips would signify that they were not using real arms during senatorial runs.

Don't know I can only speak for the Rap4METs marker. It shoots semi, fully, and locks up when you finish your rounds so that you don't waste air.
how much did you pay for the magazines?

From what I can remember, at the time I got them for around $35.00 ea. in a package with the marker
