Chris Bangle's original design was a classic.

As for this: an impressive design, not including the REAR LIGHTS!

Any keen observer would understand that it is aesthetically flawed.

who made this commercial? just watch carefully at 2:50 to 2:52 u can see in the left side the back light on the body reflex of some one walk to the car , is not professional shooting for BMW.... big mistake for that company made this movie ... :))))))

I believe BMW makes the best cars these days. They use best quality materials and... just look at these vehicles, packed with the new technology. The new 5, 5 GT, 7, X5 and X6 - I was really impressed watching these cars. I used to work in BMW (in motorcycles) and had an opportunity to take a closer look at cars as well, honestly, I was surprised.

it looks a lot like the 3 series coupe in profile. but ohh goodness that front quarter shot from above the car.... i need a towel. I don't like that shaver head grill on the chin..... It definitely looks like a 3 series from the rear quarter shot, and from the back it looks like that x6 thing, and looks nowhere near agressive enough.

the Gran Coupe is the one to get

even if you can only stuff a couple of kids in the back - at least it has four doors

They need to work on the fron facia a little and make the lights a bit more aggressive

wow they put so much effort into filming this to make it look good, ripples in the water and all. why dont they put it in a real life atmosphere like a parking lot and see how it looks then.

bangle definitely took risks while designing and the products sold more than its predecessors. thats what i like about bmw. even hooydonk now has a very creative team and this is an example of their work. the 5 is a looker and this 6 is definitely gonna be a stunner on the road.

rear end looks fine to me, but terrible front end, I don't like it. They could've improved the previous design but obviously BMW allows some real distasteful designers to head the 6 series design. some things never change i guess

Definitely not digging the new design. Front end looks more aggressive but the rear end looks horrible. I'd rather a CLS or RS5.

For all you guys that think LED's are cheesy take a look at the Ferrari 458 italia. I think if Ferrari can have LEDs any car should be able to without it being cheesy. It's design. This car is severely under designed and it's competition Audi, Mercedes will undoubtedly have far better sales for their sport coupes.

Improvement over the old 6series but way off Jauars XK, Merc E class coupe/CL and Audi A5 when it comes to styling.

and as with all BM's these days the styling are getting bland and boring.

The real car wont look like this video, they say they would only mildly change the bumper and wing mirror

BMW is the only German car manufacture that advert from the design and the shape lines since a man called Chris Bangle redesigned the whole line of BMW .....its lost every thing we remember about BMW unlike Merc and Audi they are doing very well.

This car reminds me of the 2012 Mbenz CLS. Similar head and rear lights and bodyshape is almost the same since CLS uses a Coupe style body. But I personally think the Mercedes looks better.
