my green 8 yr. old gelding tired of lunging, i probably wasn't doing it right, he will face me head up and advance till the lunging is over with. i reinforced this by quitting, so now he refuses to lunge. don't know how to resume.

good job david,most poor horses ive handled were gentle and when they got fat they were a force to reckon with. old horse trader trick was starve the heck out of a horse to sell it. its sad to see how horses have evolved..when i was young all horses were healthy,broke and sane,this day and time you never know what your climbing on.(its the horses fault LOL).God Bless my friend.

@SuperCowboy70 I have notice since it seems started when the so call natural horsetraining ,,, it is the way of thinking ,,, want to make horses into people and train the natural out of them and dont let them be responisable for there own actions.. OH Wait we do that with kids now days to and adults... People think they have a reason for being a butt hole and blame someone esle instead of looking in the mirror.It is everyone elses fault.

She seemes to have some pain in her front legs, even without rider on her back she looked to be trying to carry her weight on her back legs. I think she's older than you may think and I hope you go easy on her. Especially if she's in a full sweat when just beginning the training session.(Another sigh of pain)

was this horse super aggressive as you described just after you weaned her

baby from her? I mean, could that have been the reason she was aggressive?

Did she perhaps think you had done something to her foal?? I was just curious.

i love how youtrain a horse i have a horse look like that one and im haveing trouble out of her i use to ride her but two week ago sshe start to buck and rear with me on her and everybody said that she need to be breeded but i dont want to breed her but i ran out of stuff to do i havnt r\ode her in three weeks cause she got me scared of her what do i need to do about this and evemn when i get in the pen with her she run me out by bucking and rearing what can i do ??????????????
