nick sounds like a faggot when he's the lead singer. i don't really care if you disagree with me or not, i just think he sucks on lead. it doesn't work with SB. he was great doing backing vocals and harmonies with neal as he played drums, but listen to him sing this song. it's terrible! ugh.

instrumental section was fantastic, then that singing killed it. not even the same band without neal morse. portnoy rocks on the kit here though!

You don't care about our opinions, we don't care about your opinion. And only homosexuals in denial use the word "faggot", typically. Obviously his singing isn't going to compare to Neal's on songs written for Neal's voice, but I think NDV is a better all round singer. NDV's vocals on "Octane" in my opinion, surpass anything from the Morse era. Even on "Snow", I preferred the 2 tracks sung by NDV - not that Neal is bad either, though.

Great and unique with Mike Portnoy on drums! Go see the amazing Spock's Beard on the 25th at De Boerderij in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands, when they will record a live-DVD!! It's the iOPages Prog Festival, with the next day Neal Morse on stage (former SB-frontman).
