The sorrowful lyrics of this masterful song begs for the voice of Tony Rice, though if he can't step up to the mike, I'll take the next best thing -- having him next to Allison, strutting the guitar. This IS Tony Rice's signature song, IMO.

This was one of the best sets of music I've ever heard - thanks for posting! AKUS has always been super-talented, but after adding Jerry Douglas their sets became more INTERESTING. This MF Watson Stage set featured only songs of Tony Rice; adding his playing to AKUS & JD was a masterstroke. Tony's since done similar dates with Mountain Heart; I'm sure they're great, but don't see how they could touch this!

Ahhhhhhhhh ! Someone has finally posted this ! Thank you sooooo much banjoboy1946 ! I missed this amazing tour of my two favorite bluegrass artists, and I've been hoping ever since that it had been caught on video. An on top of that you've posted one of my favorite covers of Tony Rice : Early Morning Rain. Brilliant ! I can't believe my luck !

And by the way, if you've got anymore footage of this concert, dont hesitate and post it !
