Inav Beta Theme Problems/Solutions Part 1

@MASIHWST1 Hello,if you have a iPod touch then you are going to have to go into iFile app var/stash/themes and find Inav Beta Theme. Once you do that click on the theme and search for the iPod icon picture and change the name to "Music" case sensitive. Don't forget to respiring your idevice immediately for the changes to take affect. Hope this helps. PJ

i did follow the instruction in setting up this theme but the problem is the icon for the phone, email and others didn't change. even the lockscreen returned back to its original set up...do you think it has something to do with compatibility issue?...i am running on 4.3.5 firmware...your help is really appreciated..thanks alot

Oki used the blanks that came with inav and for some reason they show up in the theme and how do you put the messages icon on the theme and for the icon labels they always some how appear when I respring and reset and also set it in winterboard so it doesnt do that but doesnt work please answer to these problems quickly I am growing on patient I've been work on this for like 4 hours...

well idk the firmware but the version is 4.3.3

@ManegedWarrior My idevice is on 3.1.3 and this theme was make for that firmware. Your new ios4 firmware is not compatible with this theme. It will not allow you to change info using ifile. Your lockscreen or other problems you're having will not work or show up b/c your firmware is stoping them from working correctly.

oh okay then, well i got most of it to work, some missing icons are now visible and the blank icons are now invisible :) the only thing i needed was the lock screen but since that's the case then im practicly done and fixed everything that can be fixed. Well do you know any good tight ass themes that are specially made for my firmware?

@sherman78910 Are you sure Apps folder is spelled correctly. It's case sensitive.

everything worked perfected but i can not remove the actual white labels under the phone sms ext.

@M1WST1 Go to Winterboard look for "No Undocked Icon Lables" check off and move above your iNav theme. Let idevice respring itself and small white icons words should disappear. Hopes this helps.

@stormgsi30 I'll bet your on ios4 firmware. Subscribers are saying that with the inav themes or weather widgets from older themes,they can't change,update info nor delete html files. It's the ios4 firmware stoping you.

@youngspitta303 not really,these themes are made for ios3 firmware or lower. The developers have to update these older themes to be compatible with multitasking in ios4 firmware. Therefore the older themes may or may not work properly.

@youngspitta303 It sounds like you're on ios4 firmware. It doesn't let you change or update you weather info files. My other subscribers are having this same problem. When I made these vids my iPod touch was on ios3 firmware. That's why you're having so many issues with this iNav Theme b/c of your ios4 firmware.

@viet100 I just installed the inav theme to my iPod touch with ios4 firmware and I didn't have a problem with my slider. Please make sure that when you open winterboard, your themes are in this order.

No Docked Icon Lables

No Undocked lcon Lables

INAV Theme

in this order checked on.

then etc. if you have other things checked on in Winterboard.

@kris961 Did you first,unistall the iNav Theme off your device. Hope you did not delete the Categories "Apps" and "Games" folders without uninstalling the applications you put in the Folders to set up this theme.

@cristhomas213 Your "Text" app is the SMS BIg icon. You have an iPhone,you don't need to make an Categories folder.That's only if you have an iPod Touch.

Maybe you should just make a Categories folder named Text and put your SMS app inside that folder and place it on the sms page to get your large icon. This way is easier.

Hi, you can to this three ways to get the SMS large icon.

1st. Put your 'Text" icon on the page2 to get the SMS Bigg Icon

2. You can install 'RENAME" app from Cydia and change your SMS app name to 'Text"

3. You can go to Categories and make a Folder called 'Text" and put your SMS app inside this folder your Bigg SMS icon will show up.

hey! awsome vid! i know the solution to the shadows you got on your ipad because of the iblank app!! when you intall iblank, in winterboard you can activate a this that's called: No Icon Shadows - iBlank so if you are trying to get them off without uninstalling iblank thats your solution! :D P.S.
