@fubsie2 I went and saw it in San Rafael, CA. If you're a Deadhead you know the significance of the region. The place was packed with people young and old reliving and/or experiencing the magical ups and downs of the Dead's set compiled from their Winterland shows for the movie. I remember watching the cartoon on a cassette as a child but for once the bright blinking colors hurt my eyes a little and not my father's. I think it was because I never expected to see it on the big screen!
