In my experience the shepherds learn it faster. Ive seen it over and over for years after watching hundreds of dogs.

Watch at 0:06 where he goes over the shoulders of the pit and then at about 0:43, looks like he's getting ready to try to mount the pit. The growly stuff, thats all play, you can tell by how bouncy they are, my lab gets growly like that when she plays too, but that shepherd is lucky. Another dog might not be so tolerant of that behavior

Pit Bulls aren't bred for shepherding work.
Though it sounded and appeared vicious a few brief moments, it was just natural, healthy play for these dogs! Both look like they have alot of fun and are good friends!

@iluvzanimals7 Not all pit bulls are "small" dogs. Here in the United States they can range in size anywhere from 30 lbs to over 100 lbs, with a range of 40 lbs to 70 lbs being about average. They are super-tough dogs no matter what the size and account for far more maulings than any other breed here, with Rottweilers coming in a not-too-distant second place. Dutch Shepherds look like a nice solid working breed but are virtually unheard of in the USA.
@iluvzanimals7 pits arnt small always if your from london, i am and i have alot of knownledge about pitbulls, they are mostly medium sized dogs and can take down alot of different breeds, personally i dont own a pitbull breed, only a cross but now i own a mastiff breed
