Almost all my racing friends much prefer 4-strokes both for playing and racing now, but they're real racers/riders who know what they're doing. Big thing dont get hurt soo manyi know are paralysed. If your son wants to be pro he needs to practice about 8 hours a day to be on the top. Take em to lorretta lyns national every year if you dont already that where you can get tons of sponsers to help and you get to show off for the factorys.

@deelong4002 Ridden 65-250cc 2 strokes and 250/450 4 strokes. The 4 stroke bikes are faster and better for competitive motocross, sorry. Also I'm 20 and have ridden motocross for years. 2 strokes are just out dated, sorry.

@motocrossXisXawesome No he isn't.. Watch his new vid on a 250 2-stroke. Notice he says "It makes a lot of noise but is slow and doesn't go anywhere. Why? Because 4-strokes get a lot more traction, where as 2-strokes only have the advantage of being a few pounds lighter. Where as 4-strokes produce better more useable power, more traction, more consistent power, and rev out further/pulls gears longer. Ask any pro what's better for competition. (4-strokes)..

You ride a 1989 kx250 with a busted street bike helmet and just roost in a field. 4-Strokes are superior for lap times on a Motocross track, but since you don't ride Motocross don't call me a dumbass. 2-strokes were fun, but 4-strokes excel in racing now, and the 2-smokes aren't coming back into competition, ever.

@SorrellsAV hahaha!! this is my brothers account fuck face. my father raced in the GP 500cc at hawkstone park from 1986-1990 and is now a proud owner of a shop and is a authorized reseller of yamaha motocross bikes. and he was team kawasaki for 5 years straight, so i think i know what a k5 is. i also race at a local mx track near my house. so dont think i dont know anything. i also ride a 2011 yamaha yz 450f. and i can really give a shit about 2 strokes. and nobody cares buddy.

It's funny how people fall for the marketing trick, meatheads think the Kawasaki 450 and Honda 250 are the best because they got an AMA championship this year. It's time for a reality check: These bikes are equipped with loads of upgrades, costing loads of cash. The hard work from the team and rider to suit the bike to their needs is what makes them win races. You need to look at the bone stock bike when it comes off the dealer floor, what bike suits your needs. Also, get a 2stroke!

@megashay1 I raced since i was 3 years old until i broke my back bad 3 times right when i turned 16 and going pro used to race with james windham carmichel we all rode for kawasaki 2gether as amatuers. Big thing dont get hurt soo manyi know are paralysed. If your son wants to be pro he needs to practice about 8 hours a day to be on the top. Take em to lorretta lyns national every year if you dont already that where you can get tons of sponsers to help and you get to show off for the factorys.
