  • What can I do for a 2012 or 11

  • @HedgieDiva Depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Throw me some mail to my username @gmail.com and we can get things sorted!

  • did oyu have to buy an adapter? I have my kit but cant put it on because the factory plug doesn't match the HID kit input. any suggestions?

  • were can i find that stuff

  • how come the 4th light doesnt turn on? under the turn signal...

  • @onavianva - Read the video description.

  • @VaNdAlL04 - So blocked fag...

  • so on the stock headlight setup will i be able to switch in and out of hid to regular or does the kit come with the double headlight thing you got going there?

  • I saw a pair of lights for $104.00, is that a god price? Are they easy to install on your own?

    Thanks.

  • @sjnath yeah, i think that's a great price because there are some sites where they sell these type of lights and they charge up to 300. Avg. 200.

try turbometal (dot) com or ecstuning (dot) com those are great sites.

  • making boost!......is it only me with this problem but wioth these headlights when i drive at night lighting is horrible..i have to turn on the high beams every now n then to be able to see...the lights make like a "V" in the street.. same thing with urs?

  • where did u buy them?

can they fit on a 2001 jetta gl?

  • @yudhamica17

Yes they will fit, and you can find them on ebay or any number of places. I got my set for next to nothing in the vwvortex forums. They served their purpose until I could get my other set finished.

    Good luck!

  • @MakingBoost how much did u get it for?

and did u get it from a private sale? like 1 on 1 sale?

  • Street legal? BTW nice dub! nice and clean. should join us on Jetta Junkie man.

  • dubin and luvin

  • gotta fill your notch there man

  • @chrisclow What are you the VAG police?

Well considering this video is a YEAR OLD....I think you assume too much?

The grill was only 30 mins out of the package, it wasn't even painted yet.

Notch filler was tossed for a speedtech boser extension anyway.

I now run a stock grille shell with custom milled emblems.... So.... No.

Hell man none of my 3 projects stay the same for a month let alone a year.

If you want to talk dubs that's one thing, but take your assumptions elsewhere.

  • nice...

  • the light of the corner dont turning on?

  • ???

    All lights work just fine...

Are you talking about the bumper lights, they aren't supposed to blink... That is why there are fender repeaters...

  • down the blinkers

  • Are you talking about the fog/driving lights?

They are under the blinker in the headlight...

I didn't have the harness when I made this video.... They are 6k (white/driving) hid now, and I have hella micro de's in the bottom vents with 3k (yellow/fog) hid...

This video is 8 months old, I need to upload some new ones, keep an eye out!

  • Looking Good!!!

  • Thanks Joe!

  • what power source did you connect you halos to so they run? i need to know what source i can hook them to so i can have them run alone

  • Just plug them in normal, and buy a euro switch.... Problem solved... No wiring needed....

The euro switch adds positions for parking lights only, parking lights with headlight, front fog, and rear fog....

Let me know if you need any help!

  • hey there Im about to install some projectors on my mk4 and I was just wondering with your euro switch how did you install it into your dash, and also where did you buy your headlights / did you have to buy HID bulbs or did they come standard. Thanks man.

  • Got the lenses from the vwvortex classifieds. HID's from my distributor. LED's from keyrazyled. Chrome bulbs from ebay. Wiring harness from ECStyling. etc.. etc....

I can't give you a "price" this is not a off the shelf setup.

Parts alone will run you anywhere from 450 up depending on what deals you can get.

  • How much was this setup bruh

  • yea they look nice and all but how is the cutt off and the road beam on that ????

  • Nice and sharp, with the e-code projector cutoff pattern on the low beams.

The fogs have a crisp flat projector cutoff pattern.

They look nice, but work excellent!

  • dude that owns

  • Looks Nice!

  • I bought new Helix E code CCFL projetor headlights for my MK4 jetta..And they are 10 pin plug and play..But my jetta doesnt come with the harness for that..Do you know where i can find the adapter that goes from my car to the 10 pin..Dont want to cut and splice my wires..

  • google ecstuning

    cost about 90usd

    gl

  • ECS does LIST them, but good luck getting them. They are always on "backorder"....

People are paying premium prices to get them via the vortex forums even.
