  • Shooter is the greatest movie ever made.

  • this movie is probably one of the top shooting movies ever!!

    1st - saving private ryan

    2nd shooter

  • slightly gay

  • mrs u pizdu materinu

  • In the movie he says the he changes out the firing pin after he's done shooting, so you won't know if it works unless you pull the trigger or check the pin with a micrometer, anyway that's what he told Danny Glover's character.

  • that's it? where's the review?

  • Great film. If you liked Leon, you'll probably like this.

  • google images = images

    youtube = videos

f**k is it really that hard to understand?

  • you are guy mutter fucker

  • the m-200 cheytac is good

  • they accept to go to the meeting because they know that mark is not a killer but a soldier with Ethics so he wont kill any body unless if his life is threaten

  • @ZAKAZICO1 The mark is a sniper.... Think about that one .

  • d ++++= esse filme o melhor ki ja assisti.

  • Terrible. This is one of those wasted videos.

Anyway, movie is awesome! Does anyone know of other movies that are like this one?

  • LOL. this review sucks

  • This is one of my foavorite movies.. as for the open snow, maybe you missed the part where he took out like 4 enemy snipers that were waiting to kill him.

  • nice racist description sad mofo

  • marine scout sniper!! hell yea!

  • that wasnt even a legit review it was just a summary and a collage

  • this is not a review....

  • Strange. You obviously didn't pay attention during the movie...

  • Можно посмотреть онлайн на mokko.at.ua

  • I watch the movie and it was awesome so someone know a movie look like this??

  • LIKE IT

  • hmm i doubt that a marine sniper would be one of the best in the world just according to they could have done a story on an ex navy seal or something

  • damn i love the cheytac

  • @luvrussianelectro yeah in modern warfare 2!!!!

  • @OneShotKill3r lol wow shut up no one mention that horible inaccurate piece of shit excuse for a game

  • @paedrarmy1 Whaaat are u talking about mw2?? I really dont get how people can hate it, i understand that tryhards serieus gamers get frustrated with the noobtubes and stuff, but if u wanna have a good time, its the most AWESOME game in the world man... Then what do you consider a good game?

  • @OneShotKill3r my favourite game is going outside with my .243 and shooting targets on my 1000 meter field i dont need that bullshit game its unrealistic, the story is predictable and everything the characters do is unethical and retarded in real life and its just a shit game

  • they had snipers of there own in the huge area plus there was like what 3 or 4 snipers vs him he was just better thats all...

  • Whitest Boy Alive, they just show up everywhere!

  • 0:31 haha the intervention's scope is closed LOL

  • @YodaRawkt He wasn't trying to fire it.

  • @YodaRawkt ok he was not aiming down the scope he was 5 feet away and he knew it would not fire

  • @SmsHondaRider havent watched the movie, just had to laugh when i saw that :b

but i want to see the movie but dont find a good stream ^^

  • @YodaRawkt You don't need to look down a scope when your target is 8 feet infront of you. If you do then you need to practice more.

  • @YodaRawkt because he was not shooting at someone he was showing a demonstration watch the movie.

  • @YodaRawkt he had no firing pin in it....well i think it was the pin

  • good film, shit review

  • alright thanks man. feels good to get somthin right once in awhlie haha :)

  • It'd be to cliche for him to save the women, and wide range that their own snipers can find him and kill him, so he can't sneak up on them

  • 0:15 M24 :]

  • i soo feel like doing that r now..

  • You dicks, its realism, its a bloody syndicate of army men who kidnapped a woman, and swagger is a lone ex marine, wat do u expect?for him fly and rescue the maiden?and yeah they agree to face him in an open ground to take him out,the colonel says it,"somewhere i can see coming from god damn far away",youre heads are gassed up with phony hollywood bling and cant appreciate the realism in the movie....how did Cnet give you permission to make a review you morons.....

  • This was a great movie but there were some HUGE holes in it. In order to make a shot so long, the rifle would have to be sloped upwards quite a bit, but the sight would have to remain line of sight. They even said the bullet would be coming almost straight down in the commentary. Therefore, the sight would have to be on the side of the rifle to do it. Also, because of this, the bell tower shot was impossible. Also, you can't shoot from light to dark as in the lake shots. Not possible.

  • @TheMrBlinx, the holes you refer to, indicate your ignorance.

The bullet will NOT be going straight down. Actually it will only take about 61 MOA of correction for a 1760 yard shot with a .408Cheytec pushing a 400 Gr projectile at 3000 FPS with standard sea level conditions. An easy correction for an NXS scope, just like in the movie.

Trigonometry combined with JBM ballistics, gives an impact angle of about 1.7 degrees down from horizontal. The bullet will drop 5.4" over the last 5 yds.

  • @ryandpahl Watch the making of at the back of the movie, dumbass. Experts, far more knowledgeable than you, state that the bullet would be coming "*almost* straight down". If you don't like that, Take it up with them, not me. Have you ever even watch the making of section of the movie? The greater the distance the bullet must travel, the higher the angle of the shot must be due to gravity. We're talking about mile long shots, smart guy. Did you take that into account? Watch it yourself, jerk.

  • @TheMrBlinx

Yes I have watched the special features.

People THINK the bullet will come straight down from ballistic graphs. The graphs plot bullet drop in INCHES on the Y axis against YARDS on the X axis. The graph is NOT to scale, it has been compressed to exaggerate the drop.

My previous post gave you all the info needed to prove my claim correct. Even the "experts" can get it wrong. Don't belive anything HOLLYWOOD has to say.

Your self-education starts at JBMballistics com.

  • @ryandpahl Actually, we both miss spoke, as did they - "straight down is an exaggeration; 45 degrees is not. If it leaves the gun at a 34 degree angle, it will come down at a 45 degree angle. That's what I meant by "straight down", and I'm sure that's what they meant. Any greater than 45 degrees and it starts coming back (like a mortar) - anything less than 45 degrees and it'll hit the Earth before it hits the target (depending on distance). A mile long shot would be fired at +- 45 degree angle.

  • @TheMrBlinx

We are not talking about artillery/mortar/heavy guns. We are talking about the Cheytec M200 intervention. It shoots a .408 caliber bullets that weighs 400 Grains, and has a muzzle velocity of about 3000 feet per second.

Bullets flight time will be 2.7 seconds and it will drop from line of sight only 1087 inches.

To zero our scope for 1760 yards, we need the bullet to fly about 355 inches above line of sight, which will happen at 1000 yards. Thats 61 MOA or about 1 degree.

  • @ryandpahl Regardless if it's a mortar, a bullet or a rock, trajectories and physics are much the same. If you throw a rock straight up, it'll come down on your head. The same goes for a mortar or bullet. A few degrees away and it'll land farther away, up to a point: 45 degrees, then it starts heading for the ground sooner. The point was, do you remember the can of soup shot? At a mile, it could NOT have been horizontal as they showed; it would have had to be upward with the scope straight.

  • @TheMrBlinx

I find it rather amusing that you are using 9th grade physics to support your arguments. I am using proven ballistics tables taken from the most reputable online source available.

You refer to rocks, while I am using the actual caliber of bullet.

You make estimates, while I provide exact values.

I would have moved this conversation to PM's, except I can't seem to access your channel. I suggest you try mine, and send a PM so we can use more characters.

  • @ryandpahl im not really going to barge in on ya but the shot, atleast as it looks it the movie, was set in high evevation... Im not saying im right (its more of a question), but isnt the air thinner so you wouldnt have to aim as high? please dont like flip on me, just a quick question man lol

  • @alpena1wheeler

You are 100% correct, shots taken at higher elevations require less correction due to less friction. So the 61 MOA I initially calculated for would turn into 49 MOA at 5000' and 43 MOA at 10000' elevation

  • the weapon AT 32 IS a inter vention

  • @HOTrisingstar

    CheyTec M200 intervention.

  • @steff249 Yeah just because you saw it in a video game you know everything about it don't ya. If you would see M16A2 carbine in a movie and it wasn't in a video game you wouldn't go to youtube, find the trailer and see the weapon in the trailer.

But if call of duty had it and it was called " Karabiner" You would search the trailer, find it there and say " weapon from MW3 0:32 second. ( Karabiner )" When it is in fact M16A2 carbine. And it's the M200 dumbass.

  • The song is called Burning by The Whitest Boy Alive. Thumbs up so can everyone know.

  • Killers song??

  • fav movie ever

  • at 0:31 wat gun was he holding? it looks like somthing like an intervention( cheytac intervention)

  • Seems to me like this movie should be rated as an A+ or an A at the very least. To me it is as good as, "Titanic," because both of them are based on true happenings. While the Titanic was about one particular case of thousands drowning, snipers have been around for a very long time and are still with us here today. To believe otherwise is to deny the facts of mercenaries, armies and those who used to serve in that capacity for their particular nations. MGM.

  • @steff249 Cheytac M200 Intervention, damn cod makes people think they know everything about guns. Oh well.

  • @GoForItDontLayUp they never said they knew everything about the weapon i been shooting real wepons before i been playing cod.

  • please song name :)

  • Book is awesome, movie-- pretty good, but the book, Point of Impact is like an orgy.

  • thats a great movie cheytac m200 at 0:32

  • Her name is Kate Mara

the first scene already is awesome

with a sniperteam covering the retrawel of special forces perseud by tango s shooting the tango s with superb shots after a heli comesin and attackt hem and kills his buddy / spotter

i cant see how this can be b movie its a awesome story

  • @bleushift HAHAHA you can't spell worth shit

  • Awesome movie. Like what you had to say. :)

Mark Wahlberg MADE this movie though. It wouldn't be any better with anyone else.

  • fuck u grade A+

  • I sear he picked them off with an M24

  • bad ass movie

  • Wow what a dumbass dude he went to the snow range but they had snipers everywhere he picked them all off with a sexy M40A3 then went to meet them after he killed the gaurd that had the girl

  • im such a nub.. i need to see this movie :( it looks hella good

  • i like the scene of this movie shooter when mark tells to danny "colonel, or if it is colonel?, then danny said "it is"!

  • mai someone tell me wat site can i watch the full movie of this

  • Go to a video store and rent it, jesus does nobody have a dvd player anymore?

  • hot topless girl with shotgun? win. (gigity too)

  • what the movie? please thanks

  • look at the title, shooter

  • came for the review stayed for the music

  • what a song?

  • the reason he didn't immediately rescue the hot girl wus becasue he didn't want to get caught or compromise himself while on another assignment (killing the ppl who set him up) its being logical and smart; the traits of a good U.S sniper.

  • lets see more of the girl in the beginning!!

  • Mhm.. The sniper showed on 0:31 is called Intervention it is one of the most powerful snipers

  • Yeah not as powerful as the Barrett M107 but much better precision and accuracy

  • @OutDoorsOhio The Intervention and the M107 were not made for the same purpose.

  • I know I was simply stating a fact. The

M107 was actually designed as an anti-material rifle, used for taking out vehicles. Both amazing guns though. I think we're in agreement there.

  • the m200 fires a .408 round witch travels twice as fast as a 50 caliber round and delivers twice the canetic energy.

  • false

  • no its not, if somthing is half the weight its going to travel faster retard, look it up

  • It does not travel twice as fast. The 409 grain solid copper bronze bullet leaves the muzzle of this rifle at approximately 2850 fps. It does not deliver twice the kinetic energy of a .50 cal, and only surpasses its energy after 2100 yds.

  • @Alec1332 It isn't called a sniper, it is called a sniper rifle. The .408 Cheytac Intervention set the longest range kill by a sniper rifle, which is 1.51 miles.

  • rob furlong whit a macmillan .50 world record sniping chek on youtube

  • @sk8adio42 no the canadian who holds the record was using a McMillan Tac-50

  • A+ for sure.

  • @engeladam409

    yep

  • Song?

  • guys i would like to get that chicks number on 0:44 but dont you think she would blow your balls off with her shotgun?

  • that girl is so cute

  • fuk me i'd save the women strait away

  • Great movie A++

  • dont care about the vid, but I like the song.

erlend oye is a genius ^^

  • i use bob lee swagger as a fictional character in my book reports

  • lol!

  • 0:06 - can I get her phone number ?xD

  • I would rather have the phone number of the chick at 0:44

  • 0:31 m200 intervention!

  • the .22 was awesome. also mark whalberg reminds me of a bulldog with a gun in this movie

  • this movie deservse a A+ ;P

  • I give this movie an a plus. It is great from beginning to end, like "Three Days Of the Condor" !!

  • Very good move but at the beginning of the move they were shooting a M24 at 800 to 900 yards quite far for a M24 and they were head shots I don't care how good u can shoot.

  • That weapon can reach out and touch someone at over a 1000 yards. The headshots were a little far off though.

  • Comment removed

  • song name?

  • 50cal6 smart one hes not sniping in that pic dumbass do u think a sniper would were bright orange hes showing the congress or watever about the gun good one tho

  • plus the lens cap was on

  • Yeah its a sik film . I watched it in HD on blueray . It was amazing . The sniping tecniques were amazing..

  • i will not lie... i loved the sniping ... but all in all ... this film aint good.... weve gotten to much of theze movies... die hard, MI... you name it... i would say the epoke of the grt movies ended in 2002 or so

  • they mostly used m24 in this movie...but check out photo on 0:31 that one is funny...he looks in scope but scope is closed...hehe...like Bush when he looked throe binoculars and they were closed to!haha..funny!

  • he was actually doing a demonstration in this room for some people.. Dont want to give away the movie. He wasnt actually tryinh to look through it. =D

  • he's not looking at the scope... he just aimed the gun at his superior officer...

  • why the fuck you neg steelheart? how about you go watch the fucking movie and you'll see hes telling the truth

  • This is why he was released. With no firing pin in the gun the gun does not fire. He asked them if the gun had been touched after it was found. The reply was no which means no one could have taken the pin out, which means the pin was never there. This means the gun would not have be able to fire and kill the prime minister which means Swagger's gun did not fire the shot. There is no other evidence to prove Swagger killed someone so they released him.

  • But they paperpatched the first bullet and then fired it through his CheyTac to get the matching grooves from his barrel. Why was the rifle able to be fired in that case without a pin. And if they would have put a pin inside it still had to be in there thus meaning that he would have shot Danny Glover in the courtroom, but he didnt so the pin was out. Meaning that the paperpatched bullet cant possibly be fired since there was no pin in it. . Still a good movie though.

  • they didnt need the grooves to match, the slug was mangled at impact. He didnt know they had his rifle until he was captured.

  • then why did the "bad guys" use the paper patching method? To make it look like the bullet came out of his rifle..

But there is too much left out in the movie which was is in the book. So if the

  • so if the slug would have been mangled at impact why go trough all the trouble of paper patching and make yourself traceable by using a

  • method which hasnt been used in a while. Its got nothing to do with Bob lee swagger knowing his rifle was gone or not. Its the method they used which made them traceable

  • love this movie but i dun understand the ending where Swagger was released after being arrested at the snowy mountains..

  • in his gun he replaced the firing pin with a shorter one. The pin then couldn't reach the firing mechanism and the gun wouldn't fire

  • thanks for explaining..but .i just don't get it why he was free to go after being arrested..i know about the firing pin..what does the firing pin got to do with the shooting of the afican ambassador?

  • Ramdyne/FBI said this gun and Bob shot the dude, but since they admited they didn't tamper with it Bob proved that the way it was, it wouldn't shoot.

  • so how did they get his grooves mate? after it's been paperpatched that is. Since they would have to get that bullet that's been shot clean through the first rifle and then fired again through swaggers cheytac to get his grooves. If they just assumed it was the rifle the president was shot with and not checked the grooves it's even worse :>

  • I believe what they did was when they went to Swagger's house they must have taken a bullet shot from his gun. That is the only explanation I can think of to make the grooves match. But very good observation, I had forgotten they did that.

  • it's when he shoots at the can of stew they take it from there thats the only time he uses that gun i think

  • if you read the book it goes into detail. The FBI did a sluiceing test where they tested residue's and other such stuff and compared the stuff on the bullet to the rifle. The bullet they recovered was too mangled to read the grooves and they didn't test fire because they didn't want to get different readings and prove themselves wrong

  • Ah kay, cool. Learned another thing, but ye those flaws will almost always occur if you're making a movie based on a book right. Some minor stuff gets left out. Though, I dont like the way Swagger dials in his scope. Instead of adjusting for wind , elevation and humidity before he aims he kinda adjust his scope to where the target is :> Would be great if it would go like that in real life but ye some minor things i noticed.

  • PS My son told me some things about the IDF that would just blow you away. I can only speak on what I know on their behalf.

  • USMC might have said it was overdone but there are othere forces in the world, i.e. the IDF, etc. Who knows?

  • great movie... pretty realistic but still kinda overdone... anyway i enjoyed it so A++++++++

  • i think it is the best movie ever created i give it an A+

  • My cousins half-brother was a USMC Scout Sniper. He said the movie kinda overdone it

  • my uncle was a USMC Scout Sniper, and he said almost the same thing but anyway a+

  • cool song.... what is it???? please respond...

  • read the info

  • In the book it was an R700 and i think thats what its "supposed" to be

  • everyone uses remington 700s in that movie its like a remington commercial. i was impressed.

  • im not sure, maybe they used M40A1 s?

  • tkodawg9 is one dumb bastard

  • what gun is that at 0:32?

  • its the cheytac m200 intervention

  • was under the impression it was the M96 not the cheytac

  • that is the best sniper movie EVER!

  • wow this was probably the stupidest comment I have ever seen on youtube ever.

  • This was soooo coooooool!!!!!

  • not B+! It is A+++++* =D

  • Would someone be so kind as to tell me the name and artist of the song playing in the background?

  • hot chick at beginning, thumbs up
