  • Seabiscuit and immortalized its history, a story to life, to teach people that we can be better every day, just believe, respect and do our part, just the genius of the simple things.

  • Congratulations for the video.

  • Jim Fitzsimmons was not so good, the proof is Seabiscuit.

  • AWESOME! Seabiscuit will always be the the most amazing racehorse in my eyes!

  • @HorseLovinSyd check out Secretariat also a great story!

  • Well there has been quite a few great race horses, But this is about Seabiscut and she did a great job on him I have horses but after my fav race horse died on the track I never like horse raceing again, thanks for posting great job and I do no how he got his name but this is your vid :)

  • SeaBiscuit Was Amazing But I also Think 'Ruffian' Was a Legand Too x:]xxx

  • For us horse racing fans, it is worth noting that once Seabiscuit became famous, he was forced to carry a crushing weight almost every race. For example, 130 or 131 lbs., while his opposition carried as low as 104 lbs. And the Biscuit still beat them!

  • eureka

  • I simply stated that Secretariat was simply the fastest most physically gifted of all. I love Seabiscuit and believe his is the best story and definitely the greatest comeback story in horse racing history. Greatest heart, Seabiscuit hands-down, Greatest racer, Secretariat.

  • @gregoryj79 I disagree again. Greatest Racer - Seabiscuit Greatest Heart - Seabiscuit. If Secretariat wouldn't have gotten so many lengths ahead, no one would really think anything of him. Horses of the past can't compete with horses of the future. But again, in my opinion, Seabiscuit was the greatest racer, it takes more than pretty legs to run.

  • @gregoryj79 if secretariat was the fasted and most physically gifted then why did seabiscuit beat him in a race??

  • @VintageStar385 Seabscuit and Secretariat didn't race each other, but regardless of that, I still don't think Secretariat was the "greatest" ever. So a message to gregoryj79: Secretariat is NOT the best. Sorry for ruining your comment VintageStar385.

  • @TheAnastasiaLee its ok :LL and i swear they did, i watched something on youtube with seabiscuit racing him :L unless it was someone else and i missed the name haha :L i know he raced war admiral and won by miles, did war admiral and secretariat ever race?

  • @VintageStar385 No Secretariat was decades after War Admirals time. I used to get the horses mixed up to. No big deal. :)

  • @TheAnastasiaLee oh haha :L my bad lol

  • For those of you who are saying that seabiscuit is not the best, he is. You have to take into account seabiscuits massive comeback. He wasn't just any horse. He was THE horse. He (and secretariat) are the greatest horses ever.

  • @bmonjes I agree. But I think Seabiscuit was THE BEST.

  • Do you really think any of those horses have could beat Secretariat? Have you watched the Belmont? He had it all and when he chose to show it, not one race horse in history could stay with him! The Greatest without a doubt!

  • @gregoryj79 You are so wrong. Seabiscuit had heart, which is something Secretariat didn't have.

  • SEABISCUIT, SEABISCUIT, SEABISCUIT!!!

  • @mrltaliano1900 the only reason they didnt show those movies about seabiscuit and the rest are AMERICAN legends and seabiscuit gave hope to the lower class people and just there can be better horses out there but as a canadian i think he was the best american horse of his time

  • The Americans are convinced when a horse has won the United States is the best horse in history. This is really ridiculous! In the real world everyone knows that the best horses ever are italian . Varenne trotting, galloping Ribot. To be the best, you have to travel the world and win big races, beating the strongest horses in the world. Seabiscuit, Man o 'War and other donkeys Americans have never seen Europe. The movies are nice, but it is just fantasy. Watch my video of Varenne.

  • @MrItaliano1900 No, You are quite wrong, my friend. Seabiscuit, Secretariat, and the rest are real, and the movies are real. I know, I have studied themovies, an read the books on the horses. Varenne, I mean come on, don't watch REAL RACING VIDEOS i you don't like them, and just so you know the best horses aren't from Italy. How come few have heard of Varenne in America, andso many in Italy, and such have heard of Seabiscuit? Because Seabiscuit is a legend!!!!!

  • @TheAnastasiaLee Sorry for the bad spelling, but I have a bad keyboard.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAnastasiaLee if you watch my video of Varenne, you can see in New York your most important race, against the fastest horses of all America. Everyone knows Varenne. The United States of America have crowned "Varenne" horse of the year 2001, the first time for a horse is not American. After the race and the world record American newspapers have written that Varenne is the best trotter ever . We dont make movies . You talk about donkeys and Hollywood , I'm talking about a real legend.

  • @MrItaliano1900 So, am I did Vareene win a match race against War Admiral who won the Triple Crown, I don't think so. So, Varenne may be a good trotter, but Seabiscuit, Secretariat, Ruffian, all of them, they are real racehorses, oh, and I acctually am not that babyish, as I am currently learning how to be a racehorse jockey.

  • @MrItaliano1900 Oh, Varenne is trotting, Seabiscuit is running, big difference.

  • wow a secret burial and thats kinda good because theres alot of wiered people hat would do some thing stupid to be able to see him again and i think a secret burial is perfect let him be in peace:}

  • wow, amazing vid iLOVE seabiscut but i have to say Red Rum is my fave but OMG no body knows where he was buried! so i""could" have walked over seabiscuts grave...scary to think about it :L

  • go to love the under dogs huh!

  • All creatures respond to love!

  • lovely tribute!

  • very nice

  • Outstanding

  • A well told story of a horse that sums up the word legend, spoilt only at the end by the inaccurate spelling of the singer's name credited with the music, Avril Lavigne. For that all I can give is 6/10. Must try harder next time.

  • Fantastic job! I loved it! Seabiscuit has always been my favorite horse, still remember my Grandparents telling me how they listened to the event on the radio...

  • FANTASTIC! What a horse! Cathy from the UK

  • Wonderful...thank-you ..I enjoyed it..just saw the movie again...what a amazing horse

  • Thank you. Tears streaming....

  • I go to school on ridgewood ranch my best friend is immedate family to the grave site they do tours to try to find him...I know where to look :)

  • Great Video!! Seabiscuit was an AWESOME & Strong Horse. It is a shame how fragile thoroughbreds are these days. I bet Sunny Fitzsimmons regrets not keeping him in his stable. FYI: Seabiscuit raced at Hialeah Racetrack in Miami, therefore, Hialeah needs to be saved.

  • seabiscuit was an amazing horse! he went from a horse no one wanted to a real champion. i will always remember his name! r.i.p. seabiscuit

  • Nice video! Thanks for putting it together and posting it.

  • what a great video of Seabiscuit

  • what a great of Seabiscuit, thanks

  • How tall was Seabiscuit? 15.3?

  • Great vid

  • Very moving! Thank you for a most poignant presentation!

  • totally atrocious misspellings in the text made a good thing mediocre, since it was so sloppy.

  • Oh, yes! Please submit the perfected copy so your grade can be entered into the books.

  • He's buried at the ranch he died at

  • I thought that it was his leg that was crushed it said that in the book but idk

  • i think that was his first fall from the mare (idk remember her name, Fair Knightness? or something?) than the second time when he was exercising someone's horse he got dragged and his leg was destroyed

i think, it's been ages since i read the book(:

  • absolutely love it!! beautifully done with pictures and facts that I've never seen or heard before. I wish you could add a pic /comment at the end when the biscuit and pollard won 1940 santa anita handicap. That being the biscuits last race. Thank you so much for this. so inspiring.

  • Sorry, meant to put thumbs up! That would be nice if the final race with Pollard would be in this video.

  • Try checking Wikapedia for "Arkle"...the best of the best

  • I really like this video and all the imformation it brings with it. I know their has been many great race horses up until this day. However the name among all others which is stamped into americas memory and the greatest of all is the mighty Seabiscuit!! The little horse who never gave up! Just like all americans we will never give up either! A monument of Seabiscut should be put in washington dc as a tribute to americas horse the mighty seabiscuit.

  • Thanks for this vids, everytime i watch this the video of this magnificent horse, it always gives me goosebumps really a great horse.

  • absolutly, beautifully done. the music worked well. i really enjoyed your production. thank you. ...and thank you for your time reading this. p.s i have an idea where s.b. is buried.

  • Actually Seabiscuit's first trainer was SONNY Fitzsimmons. Not Jim Fitzsimmons, that was Sonny's son. I have the novel and if you read through the whole 23 chapters it will tell you the whole story.

  • You can't trust Wikipedia and most of that info was in the 2003 movie

  • the horse that crushed pollards chest was named Fair Knightness. when seabiscuit was injured, he was bred to knightness and it resulted in many stakes winners and they were put up for stud or retired with many stakes wins in their careers.

  • Have seen the movie.

    That horse is amazing.<3

You have done the this movie really intressted.

    Have a nice day! =)

  • great video for a tribute to a great champion....thanks

  • Thank you. I adore all things Seabiscuit.

  • very good for lovers horses

  • i love horses, i have one of my own, and i just want to tell u that i really enjoyed ur video

  • years ago my father called me seabiscuit...

    now i know why...

    cm

  • Great Video, and he was an amazing horse =]

  • Either the "Seabiscuit" movie was WAY off base or this video is missing some very important moments in the life of this horse, the owner and the jockey. And WOW... turn off that music. How does that have ANYTHING to do with Seabiscuit?

  • im sad now thanks alot! :) ps: this vid kiks ass

  • read the book..the horse had a burial

  • how did he die?

and he was most probably cremated

is the trainer, owner and red polard still alive?

    Rob Thomas 2+2 ever!

  • He wasnt cremated...Howard and his sons burried him on his own land. It even says in the book that he's burried under oak tree's and stuff...And Biscuit died of a heart attack...Very sudden. And Lmao no, Pollard died because his body was being destroyed slowly from the intense racing falls...And Smith, died lonly and cold...4 people went to his funeral...No one cared.

  • It does not matter how death comes...it is what you accomplish when your here! This horse and all those connected to him left a lecacy of love and admiration for the memories they gave us!

    kweech2008

  • Seabiscuit died at the age of 14 years old of a sudden heart attack, probably caused by his enlarged heart and lungs. He was not cremated, he was buried under the oak trees. His owner, his trainer, and his jockey are all now deceased. All of them died of old age, and George Woolf died in a race, where diabetes and dieting to make weight finally took their toll on his tortured body.

  • but what´s common between them all is they achiever great things during their lives, beating the odds : ´)

  • does anyone know when he died and has anyone

    founbd his body yet

  • great video.

but jesus cut the music dude.
