In 1969 a workmate introduced me to this album. She loved this song. She was murdered in 1986 and now she is almost forgotten and unloved, but as long as I remember her and whenever I play this song her memory will never fade. R.I.P. Roslyn Joan Watson died 29th January 1986. Forever in my heart.

You can't compare King Crimson and Pink Floyd, they both are awsome good, but anyone is better than the others, they were just different. (the same as Jethro Tull, Genesis...). All these groups were masters but they had their own style.

Personally, I love both King Crimson and Pink Floyd. 'In the Court of the Crimson King' is one of my favourite albums of all time, but so is 'Wish You Were Here'. Also, both 'Red' and 'Meddle' are amazing prog rock albums.

Overall, I do prefer King Crimson, though. But if King Crimson is 'King Lear', then Pink Floyd is certainly 'Macbeth'. Not quite as brilliant and important, but still pretty damn good.
