I'm a socialist, and an Iranian that hates the theocracy there now, but these green Iranians don't want our assistance, they get violently opposed to all socialistic types of governments, they wont even allow other concerned Iranians fly the old Iranian flag. Their revolt would maintain the theocracy just change the figure head.
Comrade, I understand what you mean, however I think there is more to them than what they appear to be. Ask yourself this, you are a young Iranian in Tehran, thousands are on the street demanding change. You want the theocracy to end, what would you do?
Nearly all of them are young, I think many of them, given the opportunity, would take up more progressive ideologies than Mousavi's ideology. When I see Iran, I'm reminded of Rosa Luxemburg's book "The Mass Strike".
At last I hear a persian that make sense. It is game over for Iran. Simple; Persians have no political parties that believe in democracy, liberty, national rights, equality nor justice. This is also the reason why the world society is not interested in helping.
These people are shouting "Allahu Achbar" in the streets!!!!! My God..We are in 2009 and all what people do is shout "Allahu Achbar"..and in arabic!
I'm really starting to feel all persians are sick.
