A federal wildlife biologist, Charles Monnett, whose observation in 2004 of presumably drowned polar bears in the Arctic helped to galvanize the global warming movement has been placed on administrative leave and is being investigated for scientific misconduct, possibly over the veracity of that article.
My God....decision makers are sleeping. I don't want to see these beautiful creatures become extinct. They are so precious to the whole eco cycle of our planet. We must do our best to reverse this vicious monster we have created.
The polar bears are very affected by global warming. It melts the ice, where polar bears should be staying longer in hard ice, rather than swimming earlier around the expected season. These guys are being mislead by the early melting of ice, affecting the seals, their food. I'm only 19yrs old, and from a tropical country, and I'm proud on supporting conservation of polar bears!
conservation of polar bears!!!??? they hardly need it, since the 70's polar ber population has increase 5 fold. ANd the artic ice in the past 2 years? 24% increase
How did they survive the Eemian Interglacial Era when there were no ice caps or glaciers at all? Sea level 25 feet higher then now. 125,000 years ago. How did they survive?
How did they survive the Medieval and Roman Warm Periods?
Why is there now about 25,000 Polar Bears in Canada and Alaska when just thirty years ago there were only about 5,000? Too many unanswered questions. The whole "Blame us for Global Warming" and "It's going to be a disaster" thing is a political scam.
Looks like there isn't A SHORTAGE OF POLAR BEARS UP THERE - in fact there's too many - that's why they're transporting them out - so much for their THEORY!

The polar bears will have to adapt to their new conditions, and if they can't adapt, they die out. That's the way the world works.

People need to move away from the bears, not bears away from the people.

All life on Earth is Carbon based. Carbon being good for life is of course a naturally ocuring gas and is vital to all life systems.
If you want to do good for life and Earth then you should do more to produce more and more Carbon.
Plants love Carbon. They breathe it and exchange oxygen back into the air. Be good to Earth and produce as much Carbon as you can.

First we hear that all the polar bears are dying out, then we hear that there is a plague of Polar Bears. Which is it?

Transporting them from our habitat because their habitat is disappearing, is that so hard to understand?
