If ANY ONE is still using this software DO NOT get it.. its EXTREMELY Hard to get rid of. I had to uninstall this because it wouldn't show my normal IP even when turned off so when i decided to uninstall it left behind over 50 Registry files that im looking through right now. A ton of services, System files and Registry entry's where left behind as this software is considered "Spyware" and "Mal-ware"

Hotspot shield don't work any more, hulu website can now detect if your using proxy tool or not and if you are you are not allowed to access content on the website unless you turn off the proxy tool.

I was surprised to see that hotspot shield worked; I'd heard about it but didn't trust a free service. HOWEVER--what they don't tell you is that there's a 3 g per month limit. For those who don't understand surfing in terms of Gigabytes--this usually means watching 2-3 shows and then you're done for the month. And no one tells you this, it's not made explicit on hotspot shield's site but you'll continue getting waiting for server error unless you change the mac address-if you can.

I'd say that is helpful seeing as if they do something illegal it is you who are responsible. Proxies do work on all operating systems because they all use TCP/IP. @lockerzlabrat TOR is another alternative. It take some configuration, though. Since I live overseas, I use it for Netflix. Netflix, of course, deal with many more production companies than Hulu so they would have a lot more companies to get on board with the overseas idea.

hey guys hulu com blocked hotspot shield so it doesnt work for example in germany so if u want to watch videos on hulu com u have to download the program named "Hide IP NG" search it install it and try to open some videos on hulu (use hide ip ng with mozilla firefox) prefer)
