Welcome the Night is by far the best work that Chris Roe has done. And I loved Astoria.

Before listening to the songs, just read through the words. Some amasing poetry. Chris Roe truly is a master poet

He's ditched a lot of the references to all the cool little things teenagers do. Then agian, I'm not a teenager anymore, and I don't skate or hang out on roofs so much either, so I guess me and The Ataris matured at the same time.

I'd say they're all great albums, in different ways. Like this song's great, but Teenage Riot is great in a different way, sorta thing.

old ataris was so much better. but this is one of the better new songs...

their next cd is going back to like, blue skies and so long astoria. they are self funding it, so lets hope for the best
