Just so you know.. Ray won the the Solo/Duo award at this years International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee. I spoke with him on the street for about 30 minutes and he had confidence beyond that of most musicians. He is truly and amazing performer and I hope you all support him!
Just heard you on Pandora, love the station just for that reason. Just got back from vacation in the big easy, lived there 13 years, my home away from home. I felt that song to my soul. Couldn't explain the place any better, but I guess you really have to grow roots there to understand. There is so much more to N.O. then Burbon St. Thanks for the post
Salut Ray, je comprends pas les paroles, mais je sais voir et entendre le talent et tu en as à revendre, bravo. Dans ma famille à l'époque il m'était interdit d'apprendre l'anglais on avait peur de l'assimilation. Bon succès à toi.
Had the pleasure of seeing Ray at the Vancouver Island Music Fest in Courtenay a couple of years ago. An incredible talent! Sounds like three very soulful and accomplished musicians all by himself. If you don't already have all his cd's, buy em, you won't be sorry.
Ray, heard you on 103.3 Ottawa on the way into work the other day. sounds great. Got home and looked you up right away. Love the tune and hope to learn it soon on guitar
interesting thought comes to mind while watching this, hearing it for the 2nd time. after the chinese attacked and invaded tibet, it was the rebirth and introduction of tibetan buddhism that the world would never have been made aware of if not for that occurence. the wrath of katrina and it's aftermath brought our attention to this wondrous city. our global community grows and shrinks evenly and our awareness brings these plights within our ken. thank you ray

I opened for him once on Vancouver Island. Just one man and a guitar on the stage and it sounds like a whole band playing. Very powerful

Your performance of this song on Melnick in the Afternoon on TEAM 990 Montreal was stunning... best lyrics I've heard in a long time.

Greetings from New Orleans. This song is just what the doctor ordered for my August blues. Thank you, Mr. Bonneville.
