I didn't feel shit till about 2 or 3 days no dose, then the RLS/Leg bone pain and that was only for a few days, I believe the legs hurting is due to horrid diet and lack of nutrients, start on Vitamins and start tapering down the dose every few weeks, I did it over 1 week from 40mg a day. If your a man GET A TEST SHOT FIRST!!! Biggest improvement in my way of life!!
I was on 10 -10mg hydros for 3 years (back injury) and Im at day 5 and feeling much better. A big difference from the Methadone, but I to was afraid of the withdrawls. I'm over the hump as the BAD withdrawls have surpassed. Now I just have to clean my system with a good diet and exercise get back to livin!

ive been on methadone for around 3 weeks now and im making damn sure i dont raise my dose extremely high so itll be hrd as shit to come off of it later on down the road. i was using 10-15 bags a day of heroin iv,and ive forced myself to stabilize on just 50mgs of done a day. im craving free and w/d free until very late at night i start to feel the w/d kicking in a tiny bit,buti ts nothing i cant handle until the next morning. the higher your dose = the more side effects as well.

My Dad has been on oxycotin for atleast 10 years, im 21 right now and ive been taking care of him since i was 11. he will take oxycotin, methadone, morphine, fentanyl, or opana.pretty much he can get his hands on, but i always catch him shooting up or snorting. well his doctor found all the other opiates and dropped him a couple days ago.

@AneierHSNO4 its been pretty horrible. hes moody as hell, but he just relapsed and is starting all over again. he stays pretty active when hes on pills.. but passes out randomly and burns shit. especially if he bangs them. were back at day 3 of detox, so wish me luck

Could you not go back to your doctor/clinic, and get an increase of methadone? better than injecting tablets [?] we just get heroin in U.K, and the oxy thing never seemed to catch on, just as well, as we used to have an awful prob with Diconal in the late 70's.

kudos bro I'm on day 32. Used opiates daily for 7 years, from dros to heroin to suboxone to methadone. I didn't have the strength to even pack a bowl on day 1-3 but on day 4 it made a world of difference; I could eat, it relived a small amount of the anxiety, and overall made me feel like I was "getting back to normal". Now, 32 days sober, I am through the physical withdrawals and am dealing with the mental part; lack of ambition, depression etc. I believe that without herb I would have relapsed

Finally I got so bad they found me unconscious and took me to the infirmary I still got no methadone or darvon just ativan and blood pressure medication(I was also coming off 8mg of xanax) after 30 days I was a little better but still had chills etc.

@Vulturure87 well to be honest with you thats an extremely low dose to be at (not that its a bad thing everybodys different) the lower the better, dont let people give you shit just cus there on higher doses, its nothing to be proud of nor is it a contest. But anyways, my advice to you despite being that low, is (considering how much you pay cash or medicaid idk if its killing your bank or not) but with financial factors being kept in mind if its killing your pocket get out asap,
@Vulturure87 but if you can afford it then go slow. you may be on a low dose, but your body has become acustomed to the methadone so the slower the better. go down to 2, maybe even one if it doesnt kill your money situation to take your time tapering down like that. i wish you the best of luck man and keep me posted and im allways here to talk or try to answer any of your questions. same goes for anyone reading this. gl-Cody.

@Vulturure87 if your asking how long the withdrawals will last once your at 0mgs and out of the clinic, depends , everyone is different. for me it was 3 months with symptoms, and even five months later had long term side effects, but thats just me, everyones different and most people are over it within 1-3 months id say. considering how low your dose is, id give it 1 MONTH TOPS before you feel entirely normal again. then again, you may not even notice or feel a thing because your so low :)
@Vulturure87 sup dude, im an ex oxy and heroin user. I used a six month methadone detox program here in california, The methadone worked wonders while on it, but with-drawl is is a gaurantee and amount of time on the methadone plays a huge role in the severity of symptoms. The only way i made it and completely and finally stoped being a slave to opiates was only done with shear will power and the want to actually stop using. Its been great being clean! And i highly agree that some bomb herb help
@Vulturure87 You're worried about wirthdrawl from 4 mg? I assume you're on street methadone because no clinic starts you out on anything less than 35. Even a 10 mg detox for after being on it for lets say 3 years would be minimal. Most of the detox symptoms you would face would be psychological. They don't even make anything less than 5 mg methadone.

I feel you...went off 12 ..10mg of methadone a day...but did it very slow ...took one year....then was on xanax and valium until i did some hemp oil..went off those and stopped detoxing with the hemp oil...If you do not have enough green to make the oil...try cann-butter....but i for sure believe that eating cannabis works the best....you are strong for doing this....and you can do this.....hardest thing i ever done and been throgh 2 spinal fusions and brain surgery...God bless you..;;

@sylphsis I ''fell in love'' got clean, quit cold, got married, then had a beautiful son [he is now 29!] and sadly the relationship broke up, when I was in my 20's, and i relapsed.I would most definitely not suggest that ''having a baby'' is a cure for any addiction...not at all. there are thousands of children suffering with addict parents who were once deeply in love.

can you give me advice,i am a second year in a methadon program,i strarted with 10 mg,know i am on 4 mg,i was thinking to stop it when i am on 2 mg,how do you think ???

@Vulturure87 well to be honest with you thats an extremely low dose to be at (not that its a bad thing everybodys different) the lower the better, dont let people give you shit just cus there on higher doses, its nothing to be proud of nor is it a contest. But anyways, my advice to you despite being that low, is (considering how much you pay cash or medicaid idk if its killing your bank or not) but with financial factors being kept in mind if its killing your pocket get out asap,

@Vulturure87 but if you can afford it then go slow. you may be on a low dose, but your body has become acustomed to the methadone so the slower the better. go down to 2, maybe even one if it doesnt kill your money situation to take your time tapering down like that. i wish you the best of luck man and keep me posted and im allways here to talk or try to answer any of your questions. same goes for anyone reading this. gl-Cody.

@gasmask2012 thanks for advice ,I can afford it to take 2 mg and layter to 1 mg,but i am affraid of that detox will continue too long(can you tell me probably how long will be?)but if i sucsess clean my self f""k the job i will find another.And 10x again for the advice.I will keep posting what is hepenning with me.And sorry for my bad English :D

@Vulturure87 if your asking how long the withdrawals will last once your at 0mgs and out of the clinic, depends , everyone is different. for me it was 3 months with symptoms, and even five months later had long term side effects, but thats just me, everyones different and most people are over it within 1-3 months id say. considering how low your dose is, id give it 1 MONTH TOPS before you feel entirely normal again. then again, you may not even notice or feel a thing because your so low :)

@Vulturure87 sup dude, im an ex oxy and heroin user. I used a six month methadone detox program here in california, The methadone worked wonders while on it, but with-drawl is is a gaurantee and amount of time on the methadone plays a huge role in the severity of symptoms. The only way i made it and completely and finally stoped being a slave to opiates was only done with shear will power and the want to actually stop using. Its been great being clean! And i highly agree that some bomb herb help

@Vulturure87 You're worried about wirthdrawl from 4 mg? I assume you're on street methadone because no clinic starts you out on anything less than 35. Even a 10 mg detox for after being on it for lets say 3 years would be minimal. Most of the detox symptoms you would face would be psychological. They don't even make anything less than 5 mg methadone.
Try a 200 mg detox for over a year.

@michelledoyle1969 you know why that is tho ? why you "hang out" more when you smoke weed? Because of prohibition. Prohibition is the main cause of the 'gateway drug" effect. This is because prohibition puts the marijuana in the same enviroments as the real drugs due to its illegality. Its sad really. The gateway effect does exist. but only because of bad law. i was lucky i didnt have to run around or hang out with anyone for my herb.But If you have to, then stay away from it obviously.

@michelledoyle1969 its just too bad, this plant isnt available to grow legally by all. could help so many people if people who needed it medicinally whether temporarily (like us) or long term had access to it, without having to go to a drug spot to get it. even recreationally, the crime rate would drop so much, and little kids wouldnt be able to buy it off the street. theyd have less access to it because you need to show an i.d. just like another other commodity for adults Alcohol, Tobacco, Etc

yeh day 4 was getting a little better? i guess? today is day 5. its 9.08am eastcoast..still not much for sleep...thats really whats starting to get to me...major psychosis peaks from time to time due to no nutrition and lack of sleep. the methadone took away my bodys natural ability to hold the essential nutrients and vitamins the body needs to get through the day normally. so thats what im feeling now. my brain is screaming for opiates right now. making me hurt, physically . ill upload updates

I feel you...went off 12 ..10mg of methadone a day...but did it very slow ...took one year....then was on xanax and valium until i did some hemp oil..went off those and stopped detoxing with the hemp oil...If you do not have enough green to make the oil...try cann-butter....but i for sure believe that eating cannabis works the best....you are strong for doing this....and you can do this.....hardest thing i ever done and been throgh 2 spinal fusions and brain surgery...God bless you..;;
