  • This is a wonderful piece; i love it just as much as my most in my Joplin collection

  • Please come to the next Blind Boone Ragtime Music Festival this June 5-6, 2011 in Columbia, MO at Jesse Hall. Call 882-3781 for tickets and 573-443-2090 for Regency Inn hotel.

Performers this year include Reginald Robinson, Adam Swanson, Scott Kirby, Paul Asaro, Terry Waldo, Frederick Hodges, Richard Dowling, and Morten Gunnar Larse...n (piano) with Stale Ytterli (vocal).

  • This music will be remembered in the future

  • This man is a wonderful musician. Hope he makes it to the northern edge of civilization some time. Peace.

  • I agree with you the third theme has a real early, slightly funky, and authentic sound to it... who else writes like this today?

Mr. Robinson's compositions sound the closest of anyone else's I've heard to what Joplin and Arthur Marshall actually wrote. I think he comes the closest to composing ragtime the way Joplin would have composed it.

This is no mean feat. Eric Marchese and a few others have come close. But Mr. Robinson nails it, while also having his own style!

  • This is an absolutely fantastic rag!

  • Great to see a young person have REAL musical talent rather than jumping around on stage with no skill of playing an instrument, what is with the drumming in beginnig of video mistake ?distracting, purchased cd love it

  • I didn't hear any drumming. I wonder if you have a neighbor that might have been practicing on his drums.

Thanks for watching. Reginald is fantastic!
