@ibtw1 That's a pretty complex game because of the interaction between players and NPC's. This software wouldn't be able to make that kind of game. This is pretty much for a first person shooter.

I was wondering: Is it possible to make a game similar to "Earth Defense Force 2017" by using RealityFactory or Genesis3D or any other free game engine (without programing)? Cause that's my favorite game ever, and it would be awesome to make a similar one.

on your R.F. tutorial 6, after i put the light in i can't find the modify brush button. could you tell me where it is, and do you know if you could use R.F. to make games for a console system?

to kill all soldiers then break into the base and kill the chancellor and i have about 10 spirals full of concept art and some clay molds i even painted and you can choose your maps and side i named like everything

so am i in the right direction?

This is astounding. Yes you are going in the right direction. It is very creative and important that you are writing your ideas in spirals and you are visualizing the game by making concept art and models. Nice work - you must keep going and keep imagining the game world!

i have an idea of a game tell me if it sounds good its a 1st person shooter game with two warring alien armies with about 12 different species in each army an a variety of weapons and vehicles sone that fly or hover and some that swim and you can do a story mode as either army (so there is two storys) and pick what species you are and you can do a batlle mode with a set number of computer characters fighting beside you kind of like a halo/star wars battlefront mix and the way to win is...

I found the system more than worth it. I can just screw around with it for hours and not get bored, and you can make some pretty good stuff if you're good

yup, rather expensive. But they do have a free trial that you can tinker with. That way you get a good sense for whether it is for you or not.

I looked up that fps creator thing and it requirs no programming, that means you have just used objects and map design tools created by another person, your options are limited anyway so other people who have that program would have created simular games.

Thankyou kindly. It takes a new player usually about a half hour to figure his way through it. I just put it together to show some of the concepts of player goals and tasks. was fun to do, now working on a bigger/harder/better looking one.
