I wonder if you could get a 1st generation SuperCab Ranger (yes, they do exist, from 1986-1988), and swap the motor and tranny. Unless you are not a fan of the extended cabs, as I am.

wow, what a hunk of junk, but ya gotta love that she still runs! good old fords. I like your idea of pulling the engine and trannie and sticking it another ranger. That perkins setup is rare nowadays in the ranger. Perkins makes one hell of a good diesel engine though!

sounds like its running pretty good... just make sure u dont get caught by some polution control.. lol with that straight pipe.. and is that the turbo deisel..??

no it is naturally aspirated. I have a turbo off of a Lincoln mark seven that i think im gonna put on when i pull the engine.
