the old fashion points and distributor system would be perfect for HHO. But that has not been used for 30 years or more. It would be hard to find a small old engine with fuel injection and old ignition that still runs good enough to test. wish i had a good friend that owns a junk yard

I have a friend that owns Large machine shop that has all kinds engines that we will be testing gasoline vapor carburetors and HHO gas on. We are also trying to get a Winkle rotary engine to do the test also on.

Would a standalone direct to head fuel system with programmable ECU and a crank trigger potentially work ok with HHO fuel?

We are going to be trying direct fuel injection with HHO gas by itself and we are also going to be trying Gasoline vapors for the fuel injection system under pressure on a standalone engine self-contained cooling system with a transmission that can be easy hooked up to do work.
