Regardless if it is Dairy or any other industry the government should not be in the business of giving tax breaks to favored constituents. This is why politics is so corrupt. If we want a prosperous nation we should cut taxes to some of the lowest in the western world for individuals and business. If we create the environment for success businesses will operate here and employ Americans. I don't want Harry Reid or any politician choosing the winners (er donors).
A perfect example of the government picking the winners and losers.... it's a bad idea. Now Ponderosa has to truck it's milk 280 miles! Think of the oil they are burning. Tsk Tsk Harry.
Factory dairy farms suck anyways...Both these dairies are taking huge amounts of tax payer money to operate....go to REALMILK dot COM for sources of local milk from small local dairies. Big Farms take Big Tax Dollars......
