@lbear1818 Please don't compare the two. There is nothing wrong w/ this song, but, The Roots, "You Got Me" is on a whole nother level. Sure, they use "baby you got me..." flipped it, alil, but Erykah or Jill, which ever version you prefer, rip the chorus for The Legendary Roots Crew. Just let the songs be their own.
