On the DVD Shawn doesn't mention Barcelona, but the taxi ride taking notes followed by a few months of 'settling in' & learning what it meant to live there in Positano led to the writing of these amazing "continuous flow" lyrics. I tried to transcribe the lyrics myself last year, then found them on the website & made the necessary corrections.
On the Living Collaboration DVD, Shawn tells the story of how this song came to be written, as only Shawn can tell it. This is yet another wonderful example of how Shawn weaves so many words into a song to paint a picture. Thank you UPTHEIRS for faithfully reproducing the lyrics - from the album "Faces" - in the description section.
@Funandconsciousness ... written on a taxi ride from the barcelona airport i believe. definitely a song you need to know what he's saying... which is hard to do in this one. a lot more to it than many may believe or even conceive... a hell of a taxi ride. thank you for commenting.
i heard this song done with drums and organ and it sounded more like acid rock, does anyone know where to find that version????:(
