@beckyblonde4lyf The machine you are talking about has been around for a while, and is called a stroboscope. There are two types, and we saw both in this video. There is one flexible tube that goes down the nose, and one that looks like a straight metal rod. Both have cameras and lights on the ends of them to allow the specialist to look at the vocal cords. The "strobe light" acts to "slow down" the vocal folds because the folds move so fast, you cannot see every cycle with the human eye.
