  • i was think of you actually being on your backhand, not just putting it on the back of the blade. like going down the ice on your backhand at someone, and toe draging like that.

  • Hmm, nice video but you are most likely to get a gnarly hit by the d-man because it's pretty hard to keep your head up when back hand toe dragging:/

  • Where do u get the fake ice

  • what teams have you played for, just curious

  • Backhand toe drag to your back leg, then kick it forward. That one is definitely one to work on, it'd be really useful.

  • @SidtheKid2011 Lifting the leg is normal.

It's a weight transfer from the back leg to the front. Possibly how u shoot. Or ur lifting ur leg to high. Try taking a video of urself shooting and look at the problems u have.

  • look at his hands at the begging treble focus

  • next time you should do it on ice

  • do you play roller hockey cause if u do you should post sow how to of roller

  • @jakhumes well why are they laughing at me when i do it my friends do it all the time please help

  • hi i might be the biggest fan can i ask u a question why do hockey players lift ttheir leg when u do a slapshot or wrist shot whenever i do that my friends laugh at me why?

  • @Sidthekid2011 it has to do with weight transfer, when you take the shot you want to use power from every muscle. If you really push off from your back leg you will get A LOT more power onto your shot. During the shot players use the power from their legs, and the weight of their body to get a lot of energy moving forwards and that usually results in them lifting the back leg to keep the power and energy moving forwards.

  • @TheCapsfan100 Haha thanks, I loved it my g/f didn't. Saving it for Movember, it will be back :D
