please, do a video that shows keyaction and pedal press noise. without to here pianosound. are there a keyaction like GT2 or just a GH3 plastickeys with woodshims glued to sides? all that nice cabinett would not feel anyone. the keyaction performance is importand NOT to get a nice furniture.
I have a Grantouch from 2000 which plays beautifully and has lived in 4 houses, 2 countries and never misses a note. Yamahe top end digital pianos are very high quality. This Avant Grande isn't a chinese Casio keyboard, it will last for ages. The comment about not for professional musicians is utter nonsense. There isn't a better sounding more responsive, more realistic digital piano on earth. Some very professional musicians indeed have these in their homes and apartments.
How long will it last if used at least 4 hours a day of practice? The problem with digital instruments their life span is short and the value depreciates fast.
what about the "low price" N1 relese in april 2011.

I just bought the N2 upright for a practice instrument I can play with headphones. I can't believe how good it responds. Feels just like my C7!

The AvantGrand does have a retail price of 20,000.00, however any reputable Yamaha dealer will sell it for the price of 13999.99

Nice playing by the way.

I'm not sure. It's lasted two months so far of pretty consistent use. :o)
As much as I like the Avant Grand for all its convenience and great sound, I *still* prefer a real one.
But man, it's the best digital instrument I've ever played.
Thanks for your compliment. I hope to keep improving.
