I have the exact same problems due to being hypermobile and having scoliosis, well sucks my body looks shifted to the side! The problems started like yours after having an accident which triggered everything off.
@daanon44 Well i stretch alot but im no,way as flexible as you and im supposed to be double jointed lol! But best thing whats worked for me which you should try is strength training exspecialy core work to keep your joints stable. Its hard though like you say cause aint you having pains like everywhere, me too its sucks lol!
also sorry to hear about your injury. I hope that thing will get better for you. Not sure how long it takes for such things to be healed. but may you have a fast recovery!
Injuries aren't always at a constant level of pain/pressure, but here's a current update:
For the moment, 3am on a Tuesday,
my back is absolutely hurting as the spine buckles over as which means I need to relax/stretch it out for a bit. : P I can't lay on my stomach without my back being under a lot of tension. Sloooooowly incrementing.
There's pressure along the breastbone(sternum), left pectoral and area of right collarbone.
It's why I can't really have a regular thing with weights.
The mask was cool but it's nicer to see your face :-) Sorry to hear about the continued problems, but good that you're making some progress, of course your pretzel and foot to head is way better than most people can do. :-) I do hope your daily problems can be solved too!

Sorry to read your story - but as you positively put it , you were lucky to walk away! You still have great flexibility!
Have you tried Pilates? I've found it very useful for a lower back issue and I know that dancers use it for recovery.
