KBC bank has closed my bank account as they said I am not trustworthy and they don't want unimployed lowlife customers like me. (their words and I do have a job) There was about 125€ left on my account but they took it and said it was for the work they needed to do to close my account and erase the files. Years later I found out I could not buy a house as I was blacklisted in the National Bank for being a bad loaner. I never ever got a loan in my entire life!

My husband signed some papers in the bank, a pension insurance. I checked the papers and found they give him a permanent money reserve at the cost of 75€ insurance a month + 27€ fix costs + 5.9€ for a special bank card he did not ask. Now we can not get rid of it as nobody put a gun on his head. He told them he could not read these small grey letters but they said if he did not sign the pension insurance would go up the day after. Doesn't anyone remember the United Way scandal? These banks are setting up these "mortgage counseling services" and using the funds from the government to run them. None of the funds meant to help the people are reaching the people but instead going back into the banks pockets threw administration fees and such. None of their options are designed to help you but instead help the banks, DON'T TRUST THEM!!!

@Kane6676 God I hope idiots like you get to live under communism at some point in your life. Been there, done that. If you'd like to live in a block of flats with no option to work harder for a better life, go to one of those countries. There's no reason you need to force people who want to work harder and aspire for better lifestyles into your misery. The best way to stop foreclosure is to make the payment YOU agreed and signed for. Nobody forced you to do that.

Banks were at fault because they refused to risk their federal charter so they would issue financing to those unqualified. Thank you President Bush for passing the HUD that would revoke bank charters if they didn't issue loans to unqualified applicants.
