My batter heads are also fiberskin, at least for the toms and the bass drum. The snare has a regular coated head on it. If you get a chance, get some "tightscrew" tension rods for your drums. I have these on there and have NEVER had to tune my toms, because they never get loose as I play them.

My bro and I do black keys covers too, He's 21 been playing guitar for 5 years, and I'm 18 been playing drums for only about 1 1/2 years.

For guitarist: Your technique is pretty good, definitely good enough for black keys stuff. My only complaint is to get a fuzz pedal, rather than using distortion/distortion pedal. You'll get even closer to auerbach's tone. Nice set up by the way nice guitar and very nice amp
