Well this is one of the first tutorial on youtube where someones is actually making the difference between what you call "korean airflare" kinda more horizontal and "1990 airtracks" more vertical.

The first one depends a lot of coordination and momentum (the most technical of both in my opinion) and the second coordination and balance (and easier to get from both).
