I'm confused, I saw a different version years ago. Jack said 2the pooch b4 throwing it into the trash: "This is NewYork, if u make it here, u make it anywhere". Anyway, i heard that some blonde? lady/starlet? contacted some LA scandal mag wanting to sell her story ab. sleeping with Mr. Nicholson 4 Real. The journalists told her: "fuck off, that's Not scandal/news. He sleeps with every1 (i.e. so many ladies), u r wasting our time". He's a good actor but I wouldN't do it, even if he wanted it :)

I just saw the ending of this movie on TV. I saw it at the cinema 11 years ago. I'm not convinced it's that great. There's something missing, and I'm certainly not referring to comedic aspects. For example, when Simon says "I love you" to Melvin, it just doesn't feel right. And "you make me want to be a better man" is not a great compliment. It's full of loose ends like that, things that don't quite compute. However the compliment at the end of the movie is a real compliment.

surprisingly, I don't really lika that one, although I admire Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson. He's awesome in "The Bucket list" and she's great in "What women want". This movie is funny but... something's missing.
