could you tell me how you teach your dog to walk to heel? do you use treats...?

I always found the ball terrier breeds hard to walk because they love Pulling and find it a game. But i found what works is as soon as the dog start to walk infront of u put your leg infront of their front paws. At worst slight trip them. but they soon pick up not to over take you when on the lead.

Nice Bully and grats on training, need more people like you owning this fantastic breed. Been in my family since 1930 Grandad Bred Bully's for many years, got photograph of him with his dogs all those years ago. This Video is supurb and educational. Thanks Bully is a good spec too :)

Francis or Frank Field to his friends. He was a friend of Jimmy Thomas, who owned Rubislaw. I have one of his pedigrees with Rubislaw :) He knew Tom Horner, Raymond Oppenheimer, and told me stories about Rubslaw and his Coal Man Owner. Apparently Rubislaw as not the most sociable of Bully's. Got another old photograph of mum as a child on a horse anc cart with a bull terrier by her side. An intoxicating breed.
