Put aside the fact that they may have had it coming. Shouldn't we be more startled by the fact that the children and teenagers of today (adults of tommorow) are abusing their talents.
It's not their choice to make, whether or not what they hack doesn't live up to it's standards. Hackers can't speak on behalf of the world.
If you flipped a hacker inside out, they would be wandering the streets killing or mutliating people who they have the slightest things against.

@iToasterman Don't believe everything lulzsec tweet, since denying he is part of them is the best way to protect him (see th3j35t3r's blog where they admit their best defence is denial). Just google his name and you can find his name linked to the 2008 ddos'ing of 4chan, plus more recently taking down chatrooms used by annonymous to communicate. Heck theres even a full Dox on a lot of sites which his name/alias/full address/parents details/recorded ip.

Ryan Cleary is not part of LulzSec; we house one of our many legitimate chatrooms on his IRC server, but that's it. We use Ryan's server, we also use Efnet, 2600, Rizon and AnonOps IRC servers. That doesn't mean they're all part of our group. Clearly the UK police are so desperate to catch us that they've gone and arrested someone who is, at best, mildly associated with us. Lame.
Pathetic effort by the FBI and Scotland Yard.

People should be allowed to watch what these agencies do, these agencies are in theory owned by the people, the reality is they are not, they are there to serve the corporate elite. If that was not the reality they would have nothing to hide. They have plenty to hide which is why they react the way they do. Without freedom of information in these sectors there can be no freedom.
