And everyone will have the subaru version as well. I don't see what the big deal is though as each version is the same only rebadged.

Scion is onto something here. When the TCs came out in late 04 I knew it would be a winner and they were/are. This car is obviously analogous to the FT-86 which gained a lot of popularity. Scion has established there name and quality, this car is going to be phenomenal to own and a success for Scion.

I believe one is going to be sold under Subaru name and the other under the Scion name. From what I've heard, the Subaru one is going to be a little bit more "upscale" as compared to the Scion which will be a bit more scaled down of a version that focuses on the basics instead of luxury.

Under $30,000 2.0liter boxer engine, I own an Evo X and will admit Subarus jsut sound so mean, and they have the Boxer engines for a soul. Add to the fact they are saying it'll be between 2,500-2,700lbs, Scion and Toyota need it for thee brand image, and REALLY 18" Rotors I'm doubting that makes it to final unless they are trying to make up for losses on the LFA production by borrowing it's brakes.

hahaha a 65-80 thousand dollar scion? ya right .... theres no way a low end brand like scion could introduce this car to be that expensive and get away with it. Scion is know for their cheaper cars that are targeted towards more youthful drivers... not people who have a ton of money. This car would be no more that 30,000 probably since the engine is borrowed from subaru, and even the STI's (which have a better engine than what will be in this) aren't 65-80 thousand.

Why not put it under the Toyota brand name? That would help spruce up Toyota's image most directly. Too long has the Toyota brand been missing a driver's car after the Supra, Celica, and Mr2 disappeared. Although being under the Scion brand would appeal to a smaller crowd it would be much better as placed under the Toyota brand.
