  • shitty form dude, letting that mg manhandle you

  • I was expecting to see -Dear Santa...- Use it on Justin Bieber- Kill Rebecca black with it!- Chuck norris wants his nerf gun back idiots!

  • did you get a hold of it from some insurgents?

  • where'd you guys get that? xD

    no seriously, someone answer me.

  • @Corkoth55 Off an insurgent's bloodied corpse, where else?

  • @Harris91 that's kinda what i was thinking xD ew..

  • my second favorite GPMG :)

  • that thing has got some recoil

  • this gun is a "badass"!!!

  • Is this weapon from the same manufacturer as the SVD? I noted that the tail is very similar to the rifle's one.

  • @SpecialOperations Tail? you meen stock

  • @boratfan6492 Yeah...same thing...the word escaped me at the time.

  • @SpecialOperations

Nope; the SVD is made by Izhmash, in Izhevsk, while the PK and PKM were/are made by the Kovrov Mechzavod (now the VA Degtyarev Factory/Zid), south of Moscow. Dragunov used some design components of the AK in his design, though, which the PK/PKM also uses.

  • no wonder talibans cant shoot for shit... even a trained US soldier cant handle the recoil what more than a taliban spraying it all over...

  • @boocolor

Well it shoots the russian equvalent caliberbullets to the m60 (but a bit bigger) and to my knowledge has a higher rate of fire. That said you'd have to be a schwarzennegger to shoot one without recoil showing. :)

  • @GeneralBerger

    Michael Kalashnikov was lefthanded :D

  • WHY did you go to Iraq in the first place ...

  • Worry about Bosnia.

  • @aviomaster the black gold duh!!!

  • that shit hits u no motherfucking medic is gonna help ya :D

  • pretty much usseless without the bipod rly big recoil

  • i'm in greek special forces and I can even dual-wield PKMs. You don't need a bi-pod unless you are gay.

  • @lokatzistakis

That's bullshit. You're not in any organized military force, because if you were, you would know that deploying the bipod on ONE PKM would allow you to put effective fire on a target at 200+ yards effectively pinning the enemy down and allowing for the flank to be exposed and capitalized on. Firing two PKMs at the same time would only permit you to fire on a target at 10 yards accurately.

Unless the Greek Special Forces just suck balls. But I know that they don't.

  • @plasterdbastard It's true that using a bipod would make any gun more accurate but its not neccesary and that's what I'm trying to say.

  • @lokatzistakis Yes, it is not needed and you can shoot fairy well with PKM without any support by standing hTaHejAdF-4 Just need to know how to control the recoil. And with can it is much easier than using a just belt. But you can see from that video that it is fairy easy.

  • @plasterdbastard PKM would allow you to suppress enemy down with bi-pod for 700-800 meters what is almost same with yards. And max range being 3800 meters what is littlebit over a two mail. You can very easily suppress enemy over 1200 meter range and hit some standing targets.

The sight has 100 meter steps to 1500 meter range. I personally never shot the max range but 1200 was still easy and PKM would own the warfare if you just get it to great shooting position where it has a good viewpoint.

  • @plasterdbastard And with PKM you can shoot fairy well from standing position without any pod or support. You get great 2-3 round burst to targets 300 meters away. With 9 bullet (three burst) I have got 7-10 area in target board from 300 meters (one went missing). Of course shooting when crouching is much easier and you can control the recoil well. The problem with the shooter on this video is that he did not have a can but just a belt. The can gives the needed support and grip to manage recoil.

  • That gun is designed to be over-accurate, shot 200 rounds with it fev months ago in finnish defence forces, nothing bad to say about it, accurate, good rate of fire and easy to use, thumbs up for that.

Tho the reloading system feels kinda strange, in this weapon you must escort the bolt back with your hand when in most guns you just release it.

  • never noticed that jaja, that is weird

  • looks like it kicks like a bitch!

  • How could you all who posted comments are so dumb how lol nice

  • lol look at that crate of soda next to him

  • the ak47 and the dragunov are more than what you call "crap".they are gun legends

  • lol i didnt mean the guns are crap i used many similar

  • well, its crap when it jams, but if it's not jammed, you can pwn everyone on the battle field, it depends on the person behind the gun...

  • @kjsh987

Agreed. When the end of the world comes, give me an AK. That thing will fire under almost any conditions.

  • @kjsh987 You know the way of the legendary guns

  • @kjsh987

gun legends, 1 cant hit shit

and the other uses shitty surplus ammo

  • @kjsh987 You're completely wrong the AK and SVD are crap..... hell they're shit. But they're good shit ;)

  • @wafflePWNAGE22 then you never used them they might be made of plywood and sheet metal but there not shit or crap

  • @wdmforrent1 I've used both, they don't fail easily but the AK uses a heavy round and isn't very accurate. The SVD is a different story. The whole idea behind the AK was reliability and volume of fire.

  • @wafflePWNAGE22 define isn't very accurate and the main idea was cheap mass production and reliability.

  • @wdmforrent1 That too, I'm done bitching around with you about weapons so get a life. Argument over.

  • @wafflePWNAGE22 go play some more COD kid and try to grow up

  • @wdmforrent1 You should tell your boyfriend to get his stub out of your ass you faggot. Get a life and stop being a weapons nerd on youtube. Discussion over, any further reciprocations will be fagged as spam.

  • @wafflePWNAGE22 Like I said try to grow up if you think calling someone a fag really hurts there feelings than your probably the Homo. You can flag this as spam all you want think I care. keep playing with your airsoft and COD kid thats real cool.

  • @wdmforrent1 So a class 3 transferable m16 is COD? I love your logic, explain it to me. Now I'll leave you to make love to your ak and computer.

  • @wdmforrent1 And lets not forget who brought up cod in the first place.. oh yeah, you.

  • @kjsh987 why do people always like weapons that the ENEMY uses? yes the ak-47 has more stopping power but the m16 and m4 have more accuracy, now theres no point haveing a powerful gun if you cant hit anything with it :0

  • @kjsh987 yeah and they are used on russian generations

  • wow you little shit, i have a proposition to make...you learn what the fuck youre talking about, then you knock the US military all you want :) cheers

  • наверное ты хотел сказать пасетик, а не паситик?.. ну и да, для них-то ПКМ-ка не штатный пулемёт, дуркует на стрельбище просто.

  • maybe cuz their just messing with with a foreign. can u operate american weapons if u wanted to test it out?

  • No ones armies are pathetic, you are pathetic, im guessing you are 14.

  • im fcking 23 u america dip shit....

  • prove it motherfcker

    im not american

  • were da fck u wanna meet so i can kik ur mothing fcking arse huh?

  • what pussy afraid to get your arse kiked huh?

  • the mg3 is used in denmark

  • Jerking gun

  • that guy is pretty much holding deaths hand,he probably has those shootin at him alll day!!!

  • Yeah!! But its hard to aim with

  • Daaamn rated the vid one star instead of pausing accidently. Cool gun, but one heavy fuck.

  • Lol at the M60 that randomly shoots off a round in the background...

  • Uh, the M60 is just lying there... There's a guy shooting a shotgun in the background...

  • a machine gun and a stack of beverages. Really why more could you ask for.

  • @helipilot727 a hot babe handing you the drinks and ammo.

  • @helipilot727 Some attractive women too. Oh and you can't hear them over all the gunfire.

  • this is PK (Poland and Rusian model)

  • Great Gun.

  • What everybody is seeming to forget is the point that the PKM is light at only 18.9 pounds without ammo. The only down side of things is that despite the fact that there are semi disintegrating 20 round links for the PKM,only 100,150 and 250 round belts are usually available. This leads to the problem of having to drag a lot of surplus used belt when you use the gun.Appart from this, the PKM can compete with all other contenders in the field. If you do want a PKM in 7.62 NATO,you have to go Polish.

  • Yeah, the FN machine guns sucked so bad, half of the world uses them. The M240 sucks. It is only a more reliable weapon firing at a more controllable rate of fire.... and the Minimi is only a lighter light automatic weapon that a single soldier can operate without loss of efficiency!

Fucking smartasses that think they know shit about shooting.

  • check Canadian C6

  • I think a can hear a M60 shooting.

  • woo I want a GP machine gun with the reliability of the PKM, the accuracy of the M60, and the Rate of fire of the MG3

  • The m240 is a flaming piece of crap. I don't know why they are ditching the m60 for it.

The PKM and M60 are the best GP machinguns.

  • M240 is cheaper and has a higher rate of fire. More effective at suppressing the enemy.

  • mg 42, thats the worldst best machingun, since ww2

  • The M-240 is probaly the best Machinge gun in thw world. its a licensed U.s produced version of the Fn-Mag. Which is standard in many countries. including Canada as the C-6 and United Kingdom as the GPMG. Quit overhyping Russian guns. Western designs are just as good if not better.

  • m-240 sucks, the mg 42 is way superior too the m-240..

  • and it is german not russian..

  • Mg42 hasent been around for 60 years...cept in africa

  • The MG3 replaced it, its virtually identical except its in 7.62x51mm NATO instead of 7.92x57mm Mauser and some other minor changes.

  • did i say mg42? i mean Mg3

  • the MG3 has use r u kidding me germans use it

  • I Think the germans sropped using it and sold alot of them to poooor african countries

  • Agreed. Even the varients today. Has one of the highest rates of fire for a gpmg in the world.

  • weight: PKM 6,5 kg.... M240 almost 11 kg

  • The PKM fires the 7.62x54mm Russian round. This is a larger round than either the 7.62x39mm Russian or 7.62x51mm NATO rounds. I'm not sure how well the bigger Russian round performs compared to the NATO ammo but the PKM is a hard hitting, reliable and often overlooked MG.

  • He's wrong.

Because,PKM is very powerful and its so hard to use.He must use it at ground.

  • Russian guns aren't just reliable, they're nigh indestructable, powerful, and in some cases revolutionary. Look at the VSSK "Vychlop". Silenced 12.7mm (.50 caliber) rifle? That's not something you hear of every day. Btw, this is coming from an American.

  • PKM is a very good MG, Accurate and easy to controll if you know how to use it. This marine looks like this is his first time shooting it, no big deal i looked like that my first time.

anyway PKM is accurate and powerful and light for an MG ;D

I love the m249 too its just that the internal parts to it wear out at diffrent rates. so maintaince is kinda tricky.

  • I noticed your ammo belt had a knot in it that was almost to the receiver before the video ended. I was wondering if that would jam your gun or would the belt straighten itself out before that rounds turn?

  • Woo! Is that an M60 to your left? I miss my Pig.

  • I know the damn 240b is a fn mag I was a machinegunner in the US Army. Anyway during my tour in Iraq and tested out the PKM and would rather have the 240, and that was the general consensus. the PKM is lighter though i'll give it that. the 240 and the .50cal ma deuce were killers in iraq.

  • No, it's not. Watch video once again. ;)

  • I love the sound of that gun :D

  • wow 3mm bigger wow. the 240b got a better rate of fire and is more relible. its a great machinegun. hard to swallow for anti-american liberals who constantly wank russian weapons and think all american weapons suck.

  • M240 is actually Belgian FN MAG.

As far as i know M240 and PKM are equal in general performance and effectiveness. Both are good weapons.

  • are the belts reusable for the pkm?

  • yes they are...

  • pkm fires that 7.62x54mm R round. thats bigger than the round we use in the m240.

  • You see, your confusing peoples opinions, whilst one has the utmost respect for the troops one can also disagree with the strategy taken up by those incharge.

  • ain't got shit on the 240 bravo

  • Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the real use of a machine gun is to use it for covering/suppression fire, to keep your enemys' heads down long enough so that a second combat team can get into a firing position to eliminate the hostiles.

  • No, that's about it. if your lucky, you'll nab a few enemies while your doing it though.

  • Do you often shoot machine gun from standing position?

  • yeaahhh that bitch pushes back your shoulder huh, that's real gun power

  • Machine guns and a big pack of drinks, couldn't get any better!

  • Such a poor weapon compared to our M249 and M60 series...

  • Only someone who never faced one would say something like this.

  • It's actually a relaly good machine gun. They keep "soldiering" on. They get the job done.

    Thanks for the video

  • But it's cheap to produce and it's reliable.

  • PKM is lot more reliable than M60 and lot more powerful than M249. If you think that PKM is a poor gun then you have played too much video games.

  • Lol no...Its bare powerful :S

  • The united states armu and marines us the M-240 which is better than the pkm.

  • How do you know..?

  • No problem... If you need anything else about the military, guns, airsoft, or anything else in that general topic just hit me up.

  • you can get the MN all over, just takes some looking around. Enemys use primarily ak-47's, rpk's, Pkm's, Rpg's in todays conflicts...we use m16's,m4's, M249's, m240's, m60s...

  • Thanks for the information.

  • how did you get ahold of that gun. Was it used by enemy solders?

  • Man it must be tough shooting one of those. I have an M44 Mosin Nagant which uses the same round (7.62x54R) and that thing has a pretty good kick when shooting singles.

  • that callibre is powerful but not as accurate as nato standard

  • Yeah, but are Nato guns reliable in terms of dust and cleaning?

  • true

  • the are reliable. russain guns are way overrhyped

  • dude thats a lot of recoil that guy is taking
