I really like the LED lights giving the effect of 'halos' in certain places in the tank. Wish it had plants but I can understand why it would be VERY difficult to deal with plants in a tank this size. Too bad they didn't have a clear back so you could see it from both areas in the house.
Excellant engineering to place all of that into that very thin wall and build out a canopy and stand enclosure. This is worthy of being on 'Tanked'. ;-)
I love this design, the placement, the concept, however that bigger driftwood piece looks odd in that tank, too vertical, with not enough emphasis on diagonals and horizontals, it acts only to stress the odd shape of the tank to begin with. I wonder if anyone else picked up on this. Was it the customer's picking or what?
Always love your videos and of course your installation is stunning. Thanks for choosing us as your LED lighting vendor for this beautiful project. Cheers!
I don't get why people that pay for the big tanks don't go for a decent depth. I would never buy a tank without depth to it. This one being so high only magnifies the problem.
That said: With the lights out in the other room you guys really made it work! It looks f'ing amazing! I like plants in my tanks, but seeing this i'm considering going for a plantless biotop some time in the future. My scalare would look fantastic in such lighting, and -judging by their character- they'd love it too.
sooo big for nothing!!

Beautiful biotope although I think I would have preferred a root wood with a vertical angle added rather than the rooks.

Such a welcomed change to the frequent "super-lit" tank in the hobby.

In the last shot, is the bluish light on the left rotating? Rotating LED fixtures?
