  • flipsville! get all the scalpers along the main stem wigging!

  • Yes, Al Collins had a local san francisco-oakland bay area t.v. show in the mornings, I used to watch it before I would go to school. I was an aspiring beatnik at the time, this was well before the hippie movement. He was just what I needed to keep from being way too serious about life. A couple decades after that, I caught him doing a radio show (from the Purple Grotto) wasn't everywhere he did a show called the Purple Grotto?,

  • Very cool. I grew up on Jazzbeaux in the 50's -60's. He had good taste in music , commedy and characters in general. Remember Alfonso Bedoya (I don't (got) to (show) you any stinkin' badges. Al's bandito club. his anything contest. These were all on his bay area early morning tv show . Ahhh, the good ol' days.

  • Good to hear from an OJ (original jazzbeaux). I first heard of him 1970's Dr. Demento Show. Did you say TV show? That must have been cool.
