  • Legal, not legal.. even listenling to ham radio in Poland wasn't legal if you don't have SWL Licence. Today everyone can get ham rtx and it is not restricted by any point. The only thing is that, that end-user should be aware of responsibilities and all legal effects of using ham rtx without proper licence or on non-ham frequency.

  • It's not legal to use SSB on the freebands anyway so the rigs a minor point!........but people in the UK have for 30 years and only "Hams" with a grudge worry about it (Ofcom don't) .....and good luck to 'em ........(I'm a "Ham" with a "A" licence now). I along with many other Amateurs started on there and did the work and got the ticket!!. But the old days of working the world on CB bands was "good days" for most of us in our 30's and 40's ........Dave (M0OGY) North Lincs UK
