I heard this song on NPR today and they played this at the end of a segment on air travel. It's hilarious, especially the part where suggests you have to be like Gandhi or Obi Wan Kenobi to negotiate with the airlines.
And that is what it's like. I have seen their looks of horror first hand. If there was another verse, it should contain comments from those watching you get a bass on a plane... such as don't you wish that you played the piccolo?
Hi Jay! Great song and performance, I have been through this a few times myself, once with Song Airlines (a Delta subsidiary of course)who had the audacity to use "it's all about the song" as their slogan, while telling us we couldnt bring our instruments on a half full 737!
