Indeed we are in another dimension. The esteemed Nobel Committee apparently believes in giving prizes only to Democrats and not to Republicans. Obama has done nothing to deserve this honor, and by awarding it to Obama, the Committee ensures that it will hereafter become meaningless.

I didn't realize how meaningless the Nobel prize was until they gave one to al gore. Before that, I had assumed the Nobel group gave awards only to those who truly earned them. But now that they have given The obama one too, I can see that the al gore one wasn't just a one-off mistake. Apparently all these years I was just naive in believing that the Nobel prize actually meant what it was supposed to mean. It's a damn shame....

I discovered how meaningless it was back in 1994 when they gave the Peace Prize to a known terrorist, Yasser Arafat, but I think even he deserved it more than Gore or Obama. I'll give Carter a pass.

So it's official now, the Nobel prize is now officially meaningless. As for Carter's, didn't he get his for the Camp David Accords between Egypt and Israel? If I AM remembering that correctly, then he DID earn that one.
