@thelasthallow it's been much longer than 4 years.. I remember in 2005 I heard of MTA but never played it due to my PC being too slow for GTA. I think in 2006 I heard of MTA Race and played it for long. But MTA has existed for very long time.
Like eAi said, it's likely to be 2003-2004, I bet he was more active in that time than now :)
@y50p i really dont think the guy "and his team" are the original creators of any GTA multiplayer mod. i think maby they came along later after the first few failed and made one that worked. or its just one that became popular.
