  • Pro-lifers=biggest hypocrites ever known to mankind.

Why don't you people try some truth for once and say

that you only want to protect life when you've deemed

    that life worth saving??

  • I don't see the point you're trying to make. Just how many people are trying to get apes declared humans, again? Compared with the amount of pro-choicers out there, which is surely astronomically higher?

  • One has Nothing to do with the other. Muscle, meet logic, the case you present would only be valid if it was known and could be shown that the advocates for ape rights are the advocates for abortion of abortion of six-week old fetuses. Oh, and there are not abortion advocats per say. Apples, oranges, false analogy......

  • You may be right in one part of that. But you are still

wrong that it is ok to classify or "generalize" an

entire group of people for what a few of them believe.

Since you still don't seem to get it i'll give you

an example statement- "Conservatives are pro-war"

Generalizations can be used in different ways, you

are using one incorrectly to demonize people you

    don't agree with.

  • I like this guy. Good stuff

  • its a woman's right to choose and save the apes or else they will enslave you like in the movies. j/k

  • Sometimes the stupidity of liberals is striking. I wish they'd turn cannibal and just eat each other so we could be rid of them. They are a cancer on this world and need to be annhiliated.

  • well stated...animals are not humans...but...humans are animals

  • well a pit-bull isn't a great Dany, but its still a dog.. Get it..?

  • Funny first of all how you try to lie that your

thinking isn't the minority in America right now. lol

Second, you didn't even address my main point, you

simply did the same thing again, using the position

of a few people to generalize all "liberals" so it's

easier to demonize them. Thank you for proving what

I said, that the right cannot make one statement

    right now without using generalizations...

  • Without generalizations - we would never be able to understand ANYTHING. Even a sophomore philosophy student understands this...

It is generalizations that give us anomolies.

  • ANALOGIES, moron.

  • What you don't understand is that humans are inherently unworthy of life on this planet with the obvious exception of those who worship Gaia and all life as equal.

Therefore, chimps (and all creatures for that matter) are equal to the parasitic humans under Gaia. Humans hold no special place and actually because of the harm that we have done we should be held in lower status.

  • so all life is equal, but people are unequal or unworthy if they dont think all life is equal? that makes perfect sense professor. Gaia, isnt that from Captain Planet.

  • There's only one solution. Pit chimpanzees against 6-week-old fetuses in games of chess, basketball and political debate. We'll find out who's more human then.

  • "The Musclehead Revolution"...in other words, eat steriods until your brain turns totally numb, then try to convince people you're not a total wack job. This guy is so clueless that Parker Brothers won't allow him to buy their games...

  • Way to respond to the substance of the arguments instead of losing the rhetorical debate. When you can't win the argument - start calling people names.

In other words, game, set, match!

  • Seems your scoring is as skewed as your logic. You're the one who started with the name calling, after all. You put people into tidy little groups with lables like "liberals", and act like they are all just alike. They're not. I hate PETA because I like fishing, I'm generally against abortion unless its a case of rape or the health of the mother, and I'm an atheist. And I don't give a rats ass about the possible abortion of a gorilla fetus...just why do you?

  • "health of the mother" is a total joke. a hole big enough to drive a mac truck through. If you had said life of the mother you'd have some level of credibility but the truth is you don't think the child is in fact a person.

  • Wrong again, UselessHead...if you're talking about a human fetus/child, I do believe it's a person. I'm just not as hypocritical about life as the so-called "conservatives" who think it's fine to slaughter people for profit but not save a mothers ability to have kids by terminating a bad pregnancy. And the war in Iraq is solely for the profit of a few. In a few years, those "conservative politicians" that you trusted will be outlawing your protest in front of the abortion clinics.

  • You know what I don't get...How come liberals are so gung-ho for not only abortion but PARTIAL BIRTH abortion, which is, let's face it, is infanticide, but they oppose the death penalty, worry about the health and welfare of terrorists, and are against things like Jessica's Law that "infringe" on the rights of child molesters? Where do they get off calling us hypocrites? And you notice how EVERYTHING gets turned around to be about the war in Iraq? Like nothing else is relevant.

  • And just what is revelant about the war? The fact that it was a pack of lies that started it? The fact that corporations like Halliburton are wasting billions of taxpayers dollars with their no-bid, unlimited, no oversight contracts? That American service people are dying in a war that creates more terrorist than it kills? You tell me...

  • This is EXACTLY what I meant by not talking about anything else that is relevant. So because you aren't paying close enough attention I'll spell it out for you - the TOPIC of this comment thread is Abortion, specifically Partial Birth Abortion, NOT the war in Iraq. You just typified my point exactly. You turn EVERY conversation into a comment about the war and it appears that none of you think ANYTYHING else is pertinent. Please pay attention to what I write before you comment again.

  • You're partially right...the thread is about abortion. AN APE ABORTION! And just what is relevant about that? So some animal rights nuts want to save the fetus...why are you and UselessTissueHead so upset? Thought you "right to lifers" were against abortion, anyway.

  • Okay, it's obvious that you must be partially deaf or have some sort of learning disability because the clip said NOTHING about apes having abortions, it said that some liberal groups are trying to ascribe the same rights to apes that humans have. And in the same notion they refuse to allow unborn children the same rights that apparently they want to give to animals. So, now that I have EXPLAINED it to you AGAIN, do you understand?

  • Agaqin...it's a freaking ape. Who cares? Let the people responsible for the animal do whatever they want to do! Big freaking deal! Tell the animal rights wackos to stick their heads back up their rectums, take a chill pill, and don't worry about something that has absolutely no bearing on you anyway.

  • It has just become painfully obvious that trying to communicate with you is a colossal waste of time and energy and that my theory that you have, at the very least, a horribly debilitating learning disability, has merit. Did you even watch the clip? Did you understand what the debate was about? I am not asking you chidingly but with actual serious concern for you're the apparent lack of your mental acuteness.

  • I admit that I DO tend to tune things out once they become exceedingly stupid...what was your name again?

  • If that's the case then how do ever remember your own name or the retarded little world you seem to live in?

  • Here's hypocrisy... the party of the Culture of Life... Bush and the Christo-FascistNeoCons.... went on to kill 600,000 innocent Iraqis, hmmmmm.

Oh, and you do realize they are DIFFERENT liberals... one lot for aborting babies and another lot for rights for apes...D'Oh

  • Generalizations! I did not agree with the Iraq war, I don't hate women. We are not afraid of homosexuality, we just don't agree with it. I more align with Pat Buchanan who believes in unions and American jobs. So much for your generalizations, and I don't really pay attention to my spelling on here, but I guess I should with grammar Nazis watching.

  • Different liberals - bound together with faulty, unethical, and immoral thinking.

Who decides the right to live of others.

  • Well, technically speaking, a fetus is NOT a person, and that is why we have the word "fetus" to describe what it is. PEOPLE generally do not live in wombs. Describing a fetus as a "person" is in fact political rhetoric, or malapropism. As far as classifying an ape as a human being... Well, that is indeed silly, but I seriously doubt it's part of any Democratic candidate's platform...

  • btde..At what point in the past did you start growing?

If you as a "fetus" were aborted, you would "technically" not be posting your comments here.

  • Fetus was a term invented to replace the term that every man and woman understood - baby, unborn child, human being.

And if the life can be saved outside the womb, at what point does it not deserve the right to live inside the womb?

  • "Fetus" is a LATIN word, so actually you've got it quite backwards as far as what is replacing what! get the basic facts right, then maybe we'll move on to the deep philosophical questions.

  • An unborn child is still a human being. If you don't believe it to be so, then you're mentally unstable. I suggest you get help immediately.

  • Yes, a fetus is a human being, an apple seed is an apple, a dollar in your 401k is a retirement fund. If you believe this to be so, then you are mentally retarded. I suggest you buy a dictionary immediately, and a biology book, and learn to tell the difference between political rhetoric and science.

  • ultimate, I suggest you look at a picture of an unborn child in the womb. It's got a head, hands, heartbeat, etc. It's clearly human. An apple seed is the equivalent of an unfertilized egg. You're a kid trying to talk about "science". Funny, considering you know so little.

  • Religious Conservative = No Abortion

    Non-Religious Liberal = Abortion

    Its all quite subjective.

  • We would not have generalizations if we had not put up with 50 years of Godless, humanistic, moral relativism and evolution pushed down our throats from grade school, college, liberal t.v. newspapers and Hollywood. All that, and you still can't win, or handle the back lash. You can stand any views accept your own. Keep laughing at least we believe in something worth believing in.

  • You believe in War, in Misogyny, in Racism, in homophobia, in Imperialism, in Consumerism-no-matter-what, in Machismo, in ignorance... if these are beliefs, them I'm glad I don't have them.

As for "moral relativism", Culture of life... don't make me laugh! Hypocrit

  • Oh, yeah, and as usual for a Christo-Fascist you can't fucking spell... it's "except" not "accept", and "backlash" not "back lash"..... and what is it that we can't win? Exactly?

  • What you can't win is America's heart. Most Americans hold conservative values and it is the reason the Dems are beginning to distance themselves from the far left. Have you been watching the news? The Dems are all Christians now. Why don't you all just move to Canada where you would fit in so much better? No, you want Canada right here.

  • At least the poor spellers have the decency to deal with others with dignity.

Your resorting to speech that's more indicative of a seventh grade flunky does not readily demonstrate your intellectual prowess either.

  • Who said anything about WAR, Misogyny, Imperialism, Racism in this commentary?

Talk about changing the subject when you can't defend a position...

  • War: I don't, but many do so because they think it is being patriotic.

Misogyny: I don't know anyone who dislikes women. You pulled that one out of your rear.

  • Racism: A natural state of man. Everyone is racist to some extent. Most people, liberal and conservative, try to deny their natural inclinations.

Homophobia: Who should support an unnatural disorder.

Imperialism: The US shouldn't police the world. Others support it because they believe it's spreading freedom. I disagree.

  • Consumerism: Helps the economy go.

Machismo: That's a Mexican thing, not an American thing.

Ignorance: Who has a trademark on that?

Culture of Life: supporting the unborn. It's what sane people do.

  • So you take a story about one ape that certain people

where trying to have classified as a human and use

this to generalize all "liberals" as agreeing with

this. Boy, I just can't figure out why the right is

so dispised in America right now! The right could not

speak at all if they didn't have there little

    generalizations.... lol

  • No biggie...

The women who are trying to get the ape status listed as human - are liberals. Those who push abortion with no limits are also liberals.

Those who advocate abortion do so by saying - that the unborn child is not 1. a person, and 2. alive.

Yet the PETA/Liberal Types who seek the classification of apes as humans - seek personhood for animals.

Pointing out the hypocrisy of liberals is easy...

Like shooting fish in a barrel.

  • Yeah, and the people who protest at soldiers funerals about fag-this and fag-that are conservatives. Can I generalize now and say that conservatives think American soldiers deserve to die because the country 'accepts" homosexuality?

  • Also the people who kill clinic doctors are also conservatives, and in the biggest twist of irony, also "pro-life". So logically, I can now say that conservatives are murderers!!
