As far as I am concerned, Li-young Lee is the only contemporary poet in the English-speaking world who can write endlessly profound and romantic poems celebrating conjugal love. "Living with Her" is another of such great poems! (Only Edmund Spenser's epithalamiums can compete with with Lee's, but Spenser lived in the 16th century.)

The Kingdom of Heaven is good, but Heaven on earth is better/ spooning is better. He is subtle & nuanced. His voice is amazing, and he is authentic, full of integrity, compassionate. He evokes such feeling while using such clear thinking.
