The problem with such a song is that it's totally impossible to recreate Axl's very unique super high pitched voice, hell I've always compared his voice to the sound of a guitar, it can be distorted and pretty complicated and fuzzy, full of effects. When I do sing someone else song, I try to be as faithful as possible to the original material while singing it with my own qualities and possibilities, I have personnally more a jazzy voice aka low pitched one so i just try to sing it like that :p

yeah, i have to keep changing octaves, coz natuarally i have a high-pitched singing voice (sort makes it quite authentic for a GnR song) and i have to lower it because it hurts my voice
