  • look so smart~

  • Actually, I had a Senegal for years and I never had to clip his wings nor close his cage. It all depends on how they were raised. We still have an open door policy for all our birds so we can interact. My new Cherry Headed Conure doesn't quite know what to think yet. All of our animals now were previously owned and all of the birds were previously abused. But we're working on it. Sunny the Conure now gives kisses.

  • i havr on ofthem hs namei sdalas hes kol as hell

  • Gorgeous; thanks. =)

  • my moms african grey got out the door and flew up into a tree lol it took houres! to coux her down! but now we clip her wings or close the front door lol.

  • A responcible bird owner will clip the wings to prevent flight, and too's are around the same size as most hawks, so they arn't a threat as hawks tend to go after smaller animals then themselves.

  • You don't have to tell that to a cockatoo owner. I think a person that has a pet that costs $1500 and has the intelligence of 3 year old would careful...

  • Nice DM2. I am so glad you included

the useful info re: cockatoos. They

    are incredible birds and equally

demanding of one's time and love.

    They surely deserve it!

  • What a beautiful bird! And thank you so much for letting people know that the other 23 3/4 hours of the day with a cockatoo can be tough. I hope you and your bird have a long happy healthy life together.

  • very beautiful birdie! I have a U2 as well, named Loki. I'd be afraid Romeo would fly up to a tree if spooked though - you might want to harness train him? very cute though! :)

  • cockatoos are a lot of work. i used to have one but he wasnt happy so we had to sell him. he bit everyone but me so it was hard to find a home for him. we sold him for $200 :(

  • Very cute video

  • Love this clip. *stops looks at the cam* "waaaait a minute... I'm not actually getting very far am I?" hehe - My too loves walking around the garden as well. Also great description, these guys maybe cute, cuddly and a hell of a lot of fun but don't go out and buy one until you have all the facts!

  • I guess it's healthy for his feet to do fence walking.

  • Beautiful, me and my father are looking at one tonight at a rescue center that we are interested in buying :) It will be nice to have another one.

  • I love how he really feels like he's getting somewhere!

very good advice about getting a cockatoo. Their temperament varies quite a bit.

  • sweet movie

whasent this the same song as in dumb and dumber? :P

    whats the name of it?
