  • Thanks for that completely irrelevant information at the bottom of the screen TOTP, for a second I actually thought you were going to tell me something about Moby or Twin Peaks.

  • Moby was the greatest thing to ever happen for Top of the Pops

  • Comment removed

  • @LivingByAhimsa You gotta be kidding! Top of the pops have seen so many great acts, Moby is somewhere at the bottom of the list of it's highlights

  • he was way ahead of his time

  • what a dick head this is his only song in my opinion al that crap in the early 00s was just tv music and has not aged it died shortly after

  • @paulhunter123 How is he a dick head?

And what the fuck is tv music?

  • @paulhunter123 Music from that time wasnt great, and Im glad music is starting to move on, but there were a few good songs/artists, like eminem in my view, as well as some songs, but most of it wasnt stuff I enjoyed.

  • Is he on E? lol

  • Moby with hair looks like Fatboy Slim

  • Remember this first time round, to me his best track - time flies, 20 yrs gulp!

  • Oh awesome, I love Rush!

  • am a burnt out raver and 4got how gud that was, pitty its his difative track, MOBY you were large, relive it man,it wont come again but tanks 4 the gud times, smiles 4ev4 man.........................................

  • love moby!!Saw him play before he played before prince in cork!!he was great but let himself down when he said this song was not good!!

  • Strange as this may sound..when I hear this I think of the programme "Twin Peaks", very obscure show.....This piece of music FITS....I love this!

  • You are a master of dry wit, @kindakooky1!

  • @kindakooky1 it's not strange.... Twin Peaks theme is sampled in this song!

  • @kindakooky1 lol i wonder why! x x x

  • @ni00ni

Hey.. I know, I feel like an idiot, I have just been watching old clips of Twin Peaks and now realize that Moby sampled this from Twin Peaks, not the other way around as I thought.

    I am a retro chick, 28, so I should know better...oh dear!

  • @kindakooky1 really? god i'd love to see that show again!

  • Fantastic song, Moby is so under-rated.

  • so much energy!! I LOVE IT

  • Moby sounds English; he also has hair.

  • GO ..tones on tail. ..and twin peaks.

  • GO!!!!

  • i wonder what keys he play on the keyboard on 1:23-1:54

  • He's so handsome, now and then. Sighs....I So Love Moby!!!!

  • wowow so young

  • OMG MOBY WITH HAIR!!!

  • LOL :) Unreal but true

  • One of the only tunes I own that has no bassline, unusual and timeless can still play it out now

  • it does have a very weak bassline if you listen carefully on the album

  • the club version is much better, still a fantastic tune, timeless classic, all ways will be, the new john digweed mix is very good, check it out

  • I know this is kind of a geeky thing but I've got the keyboard the is one version up from this! If you didn't see it correctly (poor youtube quality) it's the yamaha SY22 and mine is the SY55 :)

  • anyone know the lyrics to this song?

  • Erm, Ye-e-eah....GO, maybe? ;o)>

  • lmao this is so bad all he says is go its pointless

  • Because music can be reduced to what a singer says/sings. GTFO!

  • 'GTFO!' im on my computer????? youtube aint a house or social building?

  • I am hoping english is not your first language. Get the fuck out, is an expression used to address the absurdity of a statement.

  • ok,in wich case i apoligize,in any other case i understand

  • A gente na epoca da lambada e o moby ja fazia musica foda assim...

  • TOTP WAS GR8

  • lmao

  • not that theres anything from with sweet gear. :P

  • crazy:)

  • fantastic!

  • I didn't know the Rave sound went back so far. Maybe he started it?

  • It started as early as around 1988.

  • maybe...but I was raving since the late 80's...nothing compares. I'm 33 and still love going out but the sound is not the same but I still appreciate the genre as whole. Growing up in Chicago still makes me a househead to the fullest.

  • listen to The Shamen.

  • yeh get a grip

little bit of red stripe in a town caled ilfracombe were the french studieees were ripeee

and allthe shagging went down in a place called sssshhhhhh WOOLACOMBE.....

    ALWAYS LOVE HDC

  • Takes me back, one of the top 3 dance tunes of all time for me, this, Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar and Mark McCabe - Maniac 2000

  • ah no way with Mark McCabe-maniac 2000 that song sux. Energy 52 brill song.

  • i love this moby track i remember when it came out, loved it then and still love it now

  • people moby fuck'in rocks what about the hair never seen him with hair before

  • piano solo its cool

  • Laura Palmer (theme) from Twin Peaks

  • MOby - spoko ziom. Po raz pierwszy zauwazyłem go w 1994 roku, od tamtej pory przeszedł sporo przemian - ale i tak wciąz go lubie

  • Never mind this "performance", this was, and remains, one of the most perfect electronic records ever made.

    It still sounds *amazing*.

  • The sample from Laura Palmer's Theme was more hidden than I thought it would be, but it's still pretty recognizable.

  • You twat ive seen you trolling the gary numan video's if u dont like it dont view it.

every fucking totp artist HAD to mime in those days dickhead

  • Ha Ha. I remember when every dance track had a piano solo. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

  • Moby had so much energy when he was younger!

  • I love Moby.

  • Nooooooooooooo, Re Viejazo el video!!!!!!!!! =P

  • i can't beleive thats him..now hez a drawn out star!!

  • Hell yes some '91 Go with the Yamaha piano riff.

  • wow ! his keyboard IT wirelessliest !

  • he was the first real DJ...wish I was around

  • Wow i never thought i'd see this! Thanks for the upload!!!

  • God, i can't believe how young he looks. A great song,

too. Never really heard it before, though i knew it was a hit.

  • The orig. song (not live with gay clapping hands) is SUPERB.

  • Rewind my mind......Im THERE!!

  • Ahhh, Moby and Twin Peaks, sweet!

  • arrrr the days!

  • its a great song ..but truth is that the best part of it was written by Angelo Badalamenti.

  • i dont like the song,,, i prefer his newer stuff.

  • Some of his newer stuff is brilliant, but he started out with techno. And most all of his techno was/is awesome stuff. Try the albums EARLY UNDERGROUND & SOMETHING IS WRONG

  • just read your post about mobys early stuff.i was into all his early techno stuff. u mentioned everything is wrong. did u try the remix album version...awesome

  • Of course.

  • which is definitely deserved a release, absoloutely brilliant classic track, stands head and shoulders above much else he's come up with since

  • It first came out in November of 1990, as a B side of Mobility. In 1991, it was released as a single on its own.

  • wow he was nervous

  • Was this song first out on 1991?

  • hair!

  • laura palmers theme,.. :)
