    Grandma Mary

  • dude its to confusung make another video and make the tittle this How To Play A G-cord easy way :D

  • great tutorial m8 liked way how you show all chords and strumming pattern keep up good work man cheers

  • Did I miss it here? or did u forget to show the doo doo's at the end with the G-with F-bass change? Maybe I just missed it, if so my apologies.

  • Cheers!

  • oops i mean "mind"

  • third verse is Am and not c on the word "mine", but only on 3rd verse

  • That was great, cheers

  • Thanks

  • Very helpful !

  • I'm always puzzled when people ask for the strumming pattern. Can't ya just hear it?

  • @jdean0001 what's so puzzling about it - if we could hear it we wouldn't be asking for it now would we

  • @TheCrazyBitch If you can't hear it then maybe you shouldn't be playing guitar!!! LOL

  • @jdean0001 hey now kiddo i've been playing for 2 weeks now and i'm 22 it's hard when you start at an old age! and i'm getting pretty good at finger picking , if this strumming won't work i'll stick to finger style

  • @TheCrazyBitch I'm far from a kiddo and been playing guitar for about 40 years now! LOL! What I mean is that the strumming should come to you naturally if you have a sense of rhythm. It's kinda like dancing, you do what come natural. Just pick a few of your fav chords, (C Am F G) start strumming and see what comes to you naturally. You should have a feel for the music and beat.

  • @jdean0001 if someone could hear it then nobody would ask dumbass

  • @MsTommyleejones Well, someone with a little rhythm and talent might, I guess you're not in that category! (Dumbass)

  • @jdean0001 OK 1) with every song getting strumming pattern is easier 2) if it's one of the first songs that you learn it's not unusual

  • thanks man............ good tutorial

  • 3 people can't do this

  • here's a replay button 0:00

  • I learnt this song from U........U knw wht tht means ?.......Every time I play ths sng..I'll rmbr U....GOD bless U man !

  • How many times do you play G in part 1 when first starting? and do you switch and do you switch chords at the end of each strumming pattern?

  • Hi Jason,

Thanks a lot for great video here and training, could you please explain while you change from G to D while singing "seven women on mind" how exactly strumming follows that part, I have tough time synchronizing "on my mind and my strumming"

    Thanks

  • cody simpson?????

  • my teacher is teaching me to play C with four fingers, its difficult to go from C to G..any idea how to fix?

  • great teacher, how long have you been playin'?? me just started two months ago

  • Very well done lesson, mate! Ta! :D)

  • shit.. I've got guitar like 2 weeks and I finnaly learnt the chords but when I'm starting to sing everything goes away....

  • @MsTommyleejones just takes practice, ive been playing four years and i still have trouble singing with some songs

  • @MsTommyleejones Don't worry, I experienced this. Concentrate on the guitar first until u know it off by heart. When you start to sing to it, play guitar real slow at first. Just keep practicing. The coordination will come and it will feel so natural. It's like rubbing ur tum in a circular motion while tapping ur head simultaniously! Good luck

  • @MsTommyleejones that happens to me all the time, i have to know both the lyrics and chords/strumming off by heart before i can combine them

  • As a guitar beginner I find this video very helpful. Seriously thanks man.

  • Good Explaination brother! More?

  • @Mirelkooo strum is D DU UDU. I explain at 5:03 in the vid.

  • What are the chords near the end of the song where it goes "OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH"???

    Would it be Part 3's "C, G, C, G"?

Thanks and great tutorial! Great vocals to the chords so we know when the chord progressions begin. Kudos!

  • absolutley tone deaf

  • Comment removed

  • what about the intro

  • hey man you give too much talk, pl less talk and more instructions, thanks

  • love the instructions love the break down and i loved learning it =) thank you

  • very well explained......but I need it slower for my first time around; super helpful for sure, need it slowwwwwed down to play with you.

    ps nice callouses.

  • THANKS A MILLION!! YOU ARE A GREAT TEACHER! ! BEST ON HERE !! Very unselfish of you to share your skill !

  • you are a horrible singer..

  • @bonkersblock The hell he is.

  • Wow, this is easier than I thought! One tiny little thing I do notice sometimes when I hear the song... on the third verse when it gets to the line "got a world of trouble on my mind", where it would normally go G-D-C, they replace the C with an A minor. It's one of my favorite change-ups ever. The vocal "oooh" harmonies just before "Lighten up" also seem to imply a B minor, but I don't think the guitars go in that direction anyway.

  • incredable video i learned this in a day and im a beginner i notice some gospel music in your other videos i was woundering if you could do an instrutional video for place in this world by michael w smith?

  • This video is top drawer - great explanation as clear as could be. Thanks!
